I love this trash can. It is as affordable as other stainless trash cans of similar size, but this one offers the hands-free automatic opening. I actually have bought two of these, but the gear in the first one broke after it got stuck and I tried forcing it to close (not a good idea). I have now learned my lesson and if the lid on the new one ever gets stuck in the open position again, I'll know to be more gentle. I highly recommend this trash can -- just be a little careful with the lid if you want it to last.

I found these containers to be a great help to me in the kitchen. I never have to hunt down the covers and they are a great space saver. Now I have containers of various sizes to fit my needs. I'm happy I purchased these.

One star isn't what I give the actual product, but rather the experience I had trying to get it from Amazon. The first arrived broken; they sent a second one; it arrived in even worse shape than the first. Other reviewers have complained about the same thing - obviously the shipping method being used isn't adequate. I ended up getting one elsewhere - all it took was a little bubble wrap and it arrived in perfect shape. The item itself is great, but I'd get it elsewhere!

We have a lot of gadgets to charge (3 IPODS, Blackberry, Nintendo DS, and 2 cellular phones). Our main items are placed into this valet allowing us to have a tidy method of hiding the cords within the body of this unit. A small drawer is convenient to put my keys and pager away. The outlet strip allows for 6 items and there is a small notch to allow the cords to be exposed for easy access. I bought this to make more space in the shed that we use for storage of the family's four bikes. It works, but it is not easy for the average 5th grader to use. Application: Lift a 28 pound bike high enough to put another similar road bike underneath it. Make this easy enough that a 5th grader can do it. Result: 5th grader can accomplish this, but it is difficult enough that both she and her mother complain about it. Thus, the 3 stars. This unit makes the job possible, but not easy. Issues: 1. I really love this set. I've been using it since the day it was delivered, and they are definitely worth it. The lids fit really tightly on the bowls, so even if the bowl ends up sideways in my bag, I don't have a spill. And I can stack them in the fridge as well.

We freeze a large amount of summer produce from our garden and from our CSA subscription. These rolls are the best way of doing that. Not inexpensive, but definitely cheaper than the individual bags and more convenient by being individually sizable.

This item is great at minimizing the clutter of loose grocery bags and it makes it easy to grab-and-go for their hundreds of uses. If you were like me you tried to minimize them yourself by stuffing all of the bags into each other. That made it hard to pull just one out. Since I use old grocery bags as my lunch bag, that is what I had to do every morning. Great product. This may not seem like a good gift idea, but I bet it will turn out to be most everyone's favorite.

These really do keep foods from going bad! Especially useful for those of us that shop at a mega-mart and have no idea how "fresh" an item really is. Frequently, I find produce turns very fast sometimes, probably because it isn't that fresh to begin with. These bags save money and disappointment! I've had some trouble on a few foods, like tomatoes, where they seem to actually make mold come faster, and as the product says, they don't last forever. After about 20 washings, mine seem to be less effective (not that they need to be washed every use).

The product does seem to work but it is challenging to fit the produce into the containers. The smaller containers are almost useless. The large containers are functional but are of limited use in a crowded refrigerator.
