This opener works really well, once I realized how to use it. It seems so low tech, one is inclined to jump right in. Read the instructions so you don't break up the cork. My only negative is that it states it will open 40 bottles with a charge. Unless I drink a lot more than I think I do, that is a gross exaggeration.

I picked this grill because of the waffle attachments and removeable plates for washing. It is easy to use and very functional with the different plates. I like the fact that you can adjust the angle to drain off the grease or place the grill flat for cooking other types of items. I even baked cookies on it one time. It worked great although you can't fit too many on at a time. I only have a couple of suggestions that would make it better. I don't like the hatching on the upper grill plate as it is difficult to clean. The straight ridges on the bottom plate are really easy to clean, and I would prefer straight ridges on the top as well. I would also like a timer on the grill. I use the timer on my oven, but it would be convenient to set a timer right on the grill.

This is my third or fourth hand blender, my second Cuisinart immersion blender. There is one big plus over my last Cuisinart, and there's a minus to it as well. The big plus is that it is really powerful. What a whizzer! I make smoothies in the morning, using both Metamucil and protein powders with yogurt or kefir, soy milk and/or orange juice. Sometimes I throw in a few pieces of frozen fruit like raspberries or strawberries (sliced or pieces) or blueberries. The power of this SmartStick makes the grainy-ness of the Metamucil disappear (a great thing, in my book!), and the stick doesn't blink when it tackles the frozen fruit. Is there anyone who used the 600 * 6 qtr mixer to make a 14 cup flour + liquid bread dough? Mine newly purchased stopped after few minutes. Called kitchen aid, was told it should be 14 cups in total, that is flour + liquid + others = 14 cups. But, the instruction says 14 cups of flour. If I am the only unlucky one, I will have to make an exchange.

Pasta or chili, this pot is great. Nice and tall with plenty of room to avoid boil-overs when cooking pasta. I can slow cook enough chili to feed game-watching guests and still have leftovers. I've been using the Magic Bullet every weekday for about a year. I throw in a banana, some frozen fruit (mostly strawberries), water, and some protein powder. I have not had any problems at all. I read some reviews with people having trouble -- I'm not sure what they were trying to use it for, but it works fine for me; very satisfactory. I will give this advice -- if you're using frozen-hard fruit, you might want to let it thaw for a few minutes first. As I say, I use my Magic Bullet for one thing -- smoothies. It's true that if you run it for more than 10-15 seconds at a time, it might start running hot, but that's more than enough time for my purposes. The little plastic nibs one usually expects to break off never did, so I'm happy and drinking a smoothie right now!

Prior to ordering I read some reviews and was satisfied that the product was as advertised. After ordering I read further into the reviews and noticed a number of people received 'refurbished' (read: used) machines. I knew what to look for: 1) No plastic coating over the control panel to peel off as instructed to in the 'before using your bread machine' section of the manual 2) Twisty-ties are obviously re-tied. In fact, mine were not even binding the plug. The plug was tucked under the machine, loose. 3) Nicks, scratches and mars on the stainless steel and / or plastic.
