Have purchased other brands of similar water timers in the past that were difficult to program and did not hold up well. Haven't had this long enough to speak to its durability, but it's simple to program and works great.

I was going to buy locally (Ace Hardware), but including shipping, I still saved 30% through Amazon.com. The tractor has 20 - 30 hours of use so far, and has operated flawlessly. The spray arms are easy to adjust, and the 2-speed feature is handy for new sod. Caution - check operation regularly if watering new sod, as the tractor can get stuck between pieces of sod.

Used it for the first time today, and I was like a kid with a new toy. It was a fun time washing my vehicles, it was a little bit faster with the foam gun. But there were some things that I didn't like about it, depending on your setting, you can go thru soap very quickly, and you can't spray the foam very far (I wish there was a setting for that). The setting was a minor thing, because it was adjustable. Over all it's a fun item to own if you want to have a little fun washing your car.

I own the 4 Gal. version of this sprayer, and it is awesome! We live on a 200 acre ranch in South Texas. I use this all over the place! In fact, I keep Round-Up solution in it at all times. I mix up about 3 gal. at a time and never empty the tank because it never needs cleaning and is incapable of clogging. The only time it has ever clogged is when the tip of the nozzle has some dried solution on it. A quick rinse and it is as good as new. Our "yard" around the house is about 9,000 sq. ft. of carpet grass with lots of landscaping and beds. The sprayer primes up by pushing or pulling it for about 10 to 12 feet or more...plenty of time for me to drag it to the flower beds from my garage. I have been using Gilmour 3-tube soaker/sprinkler hoses for a number of years with moderate success. I recently purchased 20 more 50-foot soaker hoses to replace some old ones. About a third of the new hoses immediately developed large holes near the connectors where the three tubes are cut to form a single tube to attach to the connectors. If the hoses make it through the first use, they seem to be OK. Gilmour needs better quality control in their manufacturing process.

Difficult to find in stores, this Gilmour garden hose is top notch and a quality item. Very difficult to kink, but very flexible and relatively easy to handle. The 3/4" inner diameter size helps with providing optimum flow rate, making water the lawn faster in duration. The time and frustration you save pays for this hose many times over. Highly recommended.

Just a quick review: We bought a couple of these hoses in 1999 and they have been in use and kept outside in the Southern California sun continuously for 9 years. The hoses are in perfect condition! Based on how long they last, they are also the cheapest hoses ever. We had to replace one because a construction crew drove over it repeatedly with a bulldozer, but that's hardly normal use. The Flexogen hoses are also much lighter than most high quality hoses. Highly recommended.

this uses a lot of soap and doesnt spray out enough foam as i was expecting, i would spend more money to get something expensive and spray out thick foam

Great connector. I love the fact that I can use two different hoses without unconnecting one hose in place of another. Also, the knobs to turn on and off the hose works well.
