This product worked as well as it said it would and I was happy with it. The clean up was not too bad. The one part that I was very disappointed in was the quality of the roller cover. It says that it was 3/8" nap, but it was a very thick 3/8" and it was just a knit cover that kept on shedding. So the whole time I was picking the lint off the wall. I haven't decided if I am going to use it for the final coat; maybe if I can figure out how to make a good roller cover work, by drilling holes in it.

I was under the impression, somehow, that this wash stick attached to a hose. It doesn't. You fill up the small reservoir in the handle instead. It works OK with a bucket. The mop end is sort of a skeep-skin affair. I think it would hold up reasonably well if you used it on a car, but it will fray to pieces pretty quick if you try to use it on painted wood, as I did.

The Black and Decker roller cleaner, paint brush cleaner and putty tool is bigger and better than I expected. This is one great little painter's assistant. You'll save paint, time and aggravation all at the same time. Usually by the time I'm done painting and need to clean and put away my painting tools my back, shoulders, arms and hands are tired and stiff. When you buy good quality paint brushes and rollers you'll want to keep them clean and ready to roll, pun intended, the next time you need them. You know you have to clean them, but dang, it seems to take forever to get all that paint out. Not with this little gem. HOMERIGHT PAINT STICK IS TOTALLY AWESOME. I HAVE USED IT IN THE PAST AND SINCE WE NEEDED TO PAINT SOME ROOMS I KNNEW IT WOULD BE THE RIGHT PRODUCT TO GET THE JOBS DONE QUICKLY EFFICIENTLY AND WITH LITTLE CLEAN-UP. I LOVE IT.IT MAKES PAINTING A PLEASURE NOT A CHORE.

If there was 0 star, I would rate this garbage 0 star. I don't know what the previous reviewer got. The one I got was useless. It doesn't clean the water at all. I will throw it into garbage if I cannot return it or the shipment is too much. Never buy it or you will regret, just like me. I bought it because the previous reviewer rated it 5 stars. Perhaps s/he got a different thing.

Just wanted to add my experiences w/ this product to the mix. It does exactly what it advertises. Easy to assemble, was a bit tricky to get load the hanndle w/ paint the first time. Once you adjust the angle of the stick to 45 deg as per the instructions sucks up paint like a charm. The twist function lets you control the amount of paint in your roller incredibly well. No more over or under painted spots. Initially skeptical, my wife was later amazed at how fast 3 walls could be painted. As for clean up, it is a bit tedious 15-20 minutes but well worth the time savings on the painting. 3 walls took about 20 minutes after taping and edging. Also the cleaning is quite straight forward all u do is use the plunger action of the stick to suck water into the handle which then flushes out the paint. Its like ... Read More
