I used the Trim Loc tool for the first time to trim out a door casing. What I found as the tool's only useful feature was how much quicker it was to mark the reveal line (vs using the combination square). I tried to use it for the measuring and either the tape kept falling out of the tape hook slot or the Trim Loc moved off the stock. I guess in theroy it works better if you use the tack holes but how is that a time saver. I'm sure mine is heading to the dusty bottom of drawer #3 in my workshop.

Once you get them setup for the cut, they work well. But as others have stated, they are not well thought out or easy to use. The black handle has stripped out from the bolt top and is now useless. I would not purchase these again. I think I can buy the replacement pieces to fix the stripped out problem but what the heck, I have only used them a couple dozen times and they need repairs? I recently found some mag lock feather boards at Rockler (i think). I'll be looking for reviews on those.

Bought the featherboards seperately thinking that they came with the slot inserts. These slot adapters fit perfectly into the featherboards and I now have 2 functional units.

this is what you need combined with a miter saw to get great results doing crown molding. it has the instructions on it, so in case you have a temporary brain lapse, you know what to do. its adjustable for different types of crown. i've done two rooms at my folks house with this and now that i'm on break from med school, i'll probably be enlisted to do more!

I bought this when I replaced my 35 year old table saw with a Jet JPS10 Hybrid (both from Amazon). The installation was very easy, 3 bolts on the side of the table. I called ProMax to check if any other support was required. They assured me that the 3 bolt installation was all that was required. I've been using it for about 6 months. One of the best tools I own. 1. It saves the space required for a separate router table. 2. It's incredibly handy, right next to the table saw. I now use the router table twice as much as before. 3. It's built like a brick outhouse. The aluminum fence is very easy to use and accurate. I highly recommend it for any serious woodworker with a small shop.

I read all the 3 star and below reviews here and I think they aren't to be taken as accurate or fair. (P.S. It is not particle board, it is finished plywood, actually nicer than I expected). This is a $200 router table okay. Let's say it again, a $200 router table. Have you seen $700 - $1000 router tables, like the Jessem? You should. This is not that table and can't be compared. It can't handle the match in features, size or materials. However, taking that all into account it is a great deal and if you are just getting into routing this is probably the best low cost router table you could get. Kreg, Freud, Bosch, Pinnacle... none match this little gem. It has a great fence and even comes with a jointing feature that works well with a good bit. It is solid, has very good dust management. It's just a push stick right? Why spend $20 on it when I can just use a wood scrap. I've used it multiple times now and found it's much easier to control the wood and it's thin profile allows me to get it into some tight spots. The tray is definitely a gimmic, but I expected that when I bought it, so I can't hold that against the product.

I am a profesional woodworker and purchased this lift based on the previous reveiws. There is a Jessem lift in the shop and I definitely prefer this one for all the reasons mentioned by your other reveiwers, notably weight to dampen the motor and smooth backlash free adjustment right through the top. The only minor inconveneince are the two allen screws the hold the rings in, you have to tighten them evenly and just snug or they'll lift the ring up on one side, not worth marking it down for though and if bench dog would supply a long T handled 3/32 wrench for this it would be even better.

Jig is easy to use. Couple w/ an miter angle reference table and it makes crown molding a cinch. I actually am doing the whole house in crown molding and so I bought a second one in order to mount a jig on each side of the miter to avoid having to switch each time for left and right hand cuts. Now I can just rotated the miter. Jigs stay in place. My only complaint/wish? That it came with something to fix the jig to the miter saw. Seems the hole is standard to all miters but then again . . I only have one miter saw.
