I bought this frame as a gift to my wife and we are very happy with the purchase. Excellent quality and features. It is worth every dollar and more. Buy it. Don't pay attention to the negative feedback. Cody is a good brand.

I picked this Digital Photo Frame up at a local retailer for just under $50. For the price it's not a bad buy. I don't own any other digital frames, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but here goes... Firstly, the black really does go with almost any decor. The bad thing is, dust seems to go very very well with the black. I find myself dusting this thing daily to keep it looking nice and shiny. Using this watthour meter you can easily see how much electricity every "pluggable-innable" device uses. It might be an eye-opener. Also, for those so inclined, you can read watts, volt-amps, and power factor in addition to KWH and the number of hours connected.

There are a ton of cheaper digital picture frames from all sorts of companies I never heard of, but you can always count on Sony. Somewhat more expensive for it's size, but it works perfectly right out of the box. There are a few poor reviews here that claim pictures that have been edited don't work, but that's not my experience. I exported a couple of hundred images from Lightroom 2.0 to an SD card, plugged it into the frame, and they display perfectly. The display is bright and sharp with nice accurate color. The images I used were originally high-resolution scans of slides (from a Nikon film scanner). All have been cropped and adjusted in Lightroom, and some touched up further in Photoshop CS3. Placement is the issue. The solution is to hang the turtle from fishing string or another fine, strong string and use the turtle like a mobile. The images are perfect, and center room placement is no longer a problem.

Do not buy this. You will not get what you thought you'd get. I don't know if the manufacturer changed the product since the original product description was written or what. But what shows up at the door is definitely not what's advertised. There is no internal memory in the frame. You MUST have a separate memory card to use it. And there is no way to control the speed of the slide show, meaning that unless you enjoy seeing pictures zip by every 1.5 seconds you will not like this frame. I had mine for a whopping 2 hours before I realized that it had none of the features I bought it for and it was quickly on it's way back to Amazon.

We purchased this for the front door of our apartment, which leads to an outside hall. Previously, we used towels or a bean bag draft guard to block the cold. The Twin Draft Guard does as well to stop the cold from leaking underneath the door with one advancement: it's automatic. When you close the door, the draft guard is in place. The old method required the bean bag to be put in place manually. This means its in place when no one is home. It is as easy to customize as described. We trimmed off about half an inch from the outside foam for a better fit. This took about 10 seconds with ordinary scissors. I would agree with the reviews complaining about the fabric. It does feel a bit cheap but does not appear to affect performance.

It works great. I keep in on my desk and have about 200 photos on my memory card. That is the only thing I did not like, I had to buy a new memory card but for the price I could not expect them to give me one with the frame. A+ Overall
