My husband bikes everyday so it was about time for an upgrade to our low-tech system of bike storage and get something that protected his bike a bit and was easy to stow and retrieve the bike. This system was easy for him to install, just 4 bolts and then to stow the bike you just push against the disk to open and push against it to close. Easy. It is a simple system but one that seems to work well. The construction is sturdy and we are now thinking of purchasing an additional claw for my bike as well. If you need to clear the clutter and protect your bike, this system simply works.

If you are hanging tools on a wall, throw away the idea of installing pegboard or wall hangers. I installed this over sheetrock in my tool room. The downside is it's expensive, BUT it does offer a lot more value than other systems I'm familiar with. The upside is that it's much sturdier than anything I've ever had before. I think the spec says 75 lbs per foot over 16" stud mounting, and anything heavier than that, I don't need to be picking up at my age anyway. It's attractive, easy to saw, easy to drill, and easy enough that the only thing you have to remember is what our dads taught us -- "measure twice, and cut (or drill) once." This is a very sturdy (if relatively expensive) product, but it is well-designed and looks great hanging on the GearTrack wall system. You can position it right where you need to have those shop towels and spray cleaners at easy reach, and there's room for several cleaners. You can easily take it off the wall mount and carry it about if you need to, and it sits nicely on a table or floor, giving easy access to the towels and cleaners. You have room in the top for four or five different cleaners, so what more could you need. In short, like any well designed and well manufactured tool, it's a pleasure to use.

If you are installing a single (or vertically spaced" Geartrack, this does make the job look attractive and "professional", and just snaps on. However, if you are installing multiple Geartracks vertically together on an area of a wall, they won't fit where they are installed flush to one another.

After looking at these for quite a while, I finally purchased them. The item itself is very good. After an easy install, I hung my long Remington electric pole saw, my long Fiskar pruner (the $80 one, purchased on Amazon), my cloppers, shears, small pruners, bolt cutter, 18V electric broom, 18V electric trimmer, and quite a bit more. All on the supplied hooks. Good quality and great spacesaver. Room underneath for my Dry-VAC and Pressure washer (on the floor). I'll order the smaller lighter tool holders from Amazon. You can customize, but the individual pieces can really add up. Highly satisfied with this product.
