As long as this charger is around $40, it's a better buy than the "newer" BC-700. To quote a review here on Amazon for the BC-700 by NLee: "Except for the color, the BC700 looks exactly the same as the better-known BC900. However, it is actually a "handicapped" version of the old charger. Its charging current can only go up to 700mA in three steps (200/500/700). The BC900, on the other hand, can go up to 1000mA for 4 cells, or 1800mA for 2 cells. Also the BC900 package includes eight NiMH rechargeable cells (4 AA and 4 AAA), eight C/D cell adaptors, and a carrying case. The BC700 does not come with any bonus items. "

The Aerogarden is so much better than what I ever expected! The herbs that I started with continued to grow for 5 months. I had enough herbs to share with friends and still have some to dry. This unit worked so well, that I now have a second unit. All the growing pods have the listed days it takes for the seeds to germinate. Those days have been exact in each pod I have used. I have also harvested the herbs, greens, etc. at the approximate time they have listed as beginning harvesting times. I have salad greens and the salsa garden growing at the same time--great fresh salads etc.! I have recommended this product to many of my friends and continue to do so.

This worked just as all the reviews have said. Durable and FAST! Definately a great buy. Just one word of advice...if using in semi-windy conditions, be aware the newspaper ash will fly out from the bottom of the chimmney.

I bought this several months ago when it was a Lightning Deal so I wanted to give it some use before reading a review. I had been looking for a manual reel mower for awhile so I jumped on the deal. I'm glad I did. There's no oil to buy and change, and there's no gas to buy. When I got the mower, the instructions said the blades were adjusted from the factory but mine weren't adjusted well enough to cut evenly. This is only a minor problem though since the adjustment instructions are clear and very easy to understand. The mower is a little harder to push than a regular, non-self-propelled mower but that's why they call it yard WORK. Anybody who wants something easier should just buy a riding mower or get the neighbour kid to do it. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because it's made in China ... Read More

I bought this product because the neighborhood cats were using my uncle's herb garden as a toilet. He has us over for dinner several times per week. I didn't want to run the risk of hurting any animals, but I also didn't want "contaminated" herbs in my salad! So far, the motion-activated scarecrow has been great! The cats only need one encounter with the scarecrow to learn their lesson. If you have a similar problem, this product is a great solution. Highly recommended.

I purchased this for keeping the grass around my house and fence trimmed and am very satisfied. Granted, the batteries don't hold up to lots of heavy trimming, but for a normal trim (which for me is grass and some weeds around the entire house plus both sides of about 320ft of fencing) the 2 batteries are just enough when fully charged. It can definitely handle much thicker weeds and such, but don't expect the batteries to last too long under those circumstances. So I think the recommendation really comes down to your use. If you're just using it to keep the grass and small weeds around the house neatly trimmed, you'll be very satisfied. If you're hacking through the jungle, you'll definitely want to look at more traditional solutions.

In place of a lawn, my home is surrounded by decorative white coral. Prior to the Toro Ultra, cleaning the coral from dried leaves, weeds, twigs, dried flower blossoms etc... had been a royal pain: a rake was too slow (like picking up sand one grain at a time) and a broom brushed all the coral around. I now use the "vac" to pick up the dried stuff. I like the speed control (essentially allows you to dial how much suction you want) and the attached fabric bag captures everything (very little dust escapes). In addition, the fabric bag has a zipper running the length of the bag which makes it extremely easy to empty (not like a traditional vacuum cleaner bag), and can be washed when necessary (hand-washing recommended).
