I major in Computer Engineering Technology and I have got to say that this is the best soldering iron that I have ever used. It is well worth its price. I was excited to receive this item. As I set up to do some quick electronic repairs, I took it out of the box. Plugged it in and set it to 700 degrees Farenheit. The base turns on but the iron does not heat up. Nothing, nada, arrrgh! I had to use my 7 dollar Sears iron which has been working for the last 6 years! I am not happy at all and probably will not go Weller ever again. Although the merchant promised to ship me another one right away, I am a bit skeptical on the quality of this digital unit.

this is a great tool which I've had for a couple months now. works as advertised and is flawless thus far. easy to use. heats up solder tip in several seconds. comes with heat deflector for use with heat shrink - and who doesnt want a solder iron that doubles as a mini blow torch?!

This wrench is great. Mainly I use it for tightening the handle of clamps. It saves my hands from much strain and pain. The fact that it has the feature to tighten hooks and such items is fantastic. It has not slipped on a nut even when I used it to loosen the nut from my oil pan on my car. Overall WORKS GREAT. Just wish they made a bigger one.

I have my father's well-used Lufkin folding rule and I still use it today - dings, loose extension, paint splatters, and all. There is no better tool for inside measurements. It does not break down like a tape measure (think of typical tape measure kinks from folding). It stays in place where you lay it, unlike a tape measure. The edges are flat, making precision measurements easier (precision here in the carpentry context, not engineering accuracy). It slides easily into a pocket or apron. It's still made pretty much the same way and to the same level of quality, and if I needed another one, I would still buy the Lufkin.

I wanted to like this because it is a good idea. The implementation is jsut poorly done. I bought one and it broke--the slider lost it's position, so it no longer opened the jaw all the way. I returned it, and the second eventually did the same. I returned it too. Maybe version 2 will be dependable.
