This product is all well and good if used primarily as a screwdriver. However, I decided to buy this as it said it could be used as a drill. This is very misleading. The drill bits that you get in accessory packs are not hex, and they will require an extra attachment to work. I have spoken to Black abd Decker, and they were unable to tell me if such an attachment exists. Therefore, any drill bits that you buy with round ends WILL NOT WORK in this product. I even bought a drill bit kit from B&D which sppeared to have a hex attachment. However, this also does not fit into the PD600. Very very misleading product.

I have a joint hypermobility problem and can't deal with heavy objects for any length of time. This drill is light enough that I can work with it for more than short periods. The angle adjustment is extremely useful although I wish it came with more bits. It has a decent amount of power for smaller jobs, but have come across jobs that it just can't handle. Overall, I am very pleased with this drill.

This tool is a dream come true for IT technicians, especially when you have tons of cases and parts to remove and install. i bought this product about 3 weeks ago. charged it and never had to recharge it since. I usually use it on the lowest clutch setting and it's still going strong. I have used it on approximately 40 machines since i first got it and i think i can go to my next job with it without recharging. i love the pivoting head and it's feels firm and durable in my hand. All i need is more Bits which i'll be buying very shortly

Great for the yard, best battery life I have come across if you take proper care of charging them. This is my second set in ten years and only because the package was cheaper than buying extra batteries, all the original tools still work great.

Small but powerful enough for most household chores.Only drawback is chuck is not magnetic.Bits have a habit of falling out.

I like this product, but it really takes two people. One to hold the unit and one to mark. It does have the optional nail attachment, but it chips the plaster. It's only recommended for drywall. I got it at a huge discount so it was worth it to me. I don't think I would pay the usual $50 price tag though.

I bought this because I have the other B&D cordless screwdriver that takes AA batteries and really liked it. But it is in-line, so I couldn't get into tight spaces with it. I thought this would be of similar quality. I was wrong. It is more expensive but feels like and performs like a cheap plastic toy. Don't even think about using it as a drill or to torque screws down with any significant force. Spend a little more money and get a quality tool.

I received this as a gift 3 years ago and pull it out each year and recharge it. This year the main battery is dead and won't recharge even though the green light indicates it's fully charged. The flashlight works and does recharge. A replacement battery is over $30.00 with shipping. The unit does work when it's plugged in(not its intended purpose), but the radio only works on am/fm with just static on the other channels. I wouldn't buy one of these.

I've had mine for a couple weeks and, so far, have used it twice. Works great and is no heavier than my old 12 volt cordless that I've had for about 5 years. The 18 volt battery was a plus for me since I purchased the B&D cordless trimmer last spring, and it uses the same battery(I got 2 with the trimmer). This drill offers more power than you'll ever need for household projects. And having only 5 torque settings isn't really a big deal either. I had no problem assembling a plastic table for my grandsons for Christmas and never stripped one screw. The only drawback that I can see is the storage case could have been designed a little better.
