This is a very nice saw for the price. It has a comfortable grip, feels sturdy and well made. It is light weight, but still deliver good power and speed for cutting thick wood. I would of recommended this product until I found out GMC will not stand behind their prduct. GMC does not support any tool sold in the US and that includes Amazon. So if your tool goes bad don't bother trying to get a replacement from GMC. GMC is an Australian company and the 1866-307-0132(USA) support number connect you to Australia only to be denied of any support. Lets blame China for manufacturing the tool even though Australia designed and support it or NOT. That is the medias and publics reaction these days, blame the manufacture and not the company who is actually the root for the problem. Good thing Amazon is willing ... Read More

it does not cut straight, just curved to the right. it is better to get a brand name than risk buying this tool. it may work well for you but you will be taking a chance. would not recommend it.

I've had this for almost 1 and a half years. I bought it here on Amazon. It works well. I've used it to sand my dogs nails down as he doesn't mind it as much as clipping with the nail clippers. I've also used it to grind down metal nail tips (protruding through wood) and it worked well except the chuck kept on slipping causing the bit to work it's way out. I had to stop every minute or so to push the bit into the chuck and retighten. I ground down about 12 nails in that one use and applied quite a bit of pressure down as I was grinding; it handled it well other than the slipping of the chuck. I've also used it for small jobs such as cutting plastic using the cutting wheel with no problems. It's not clear to me which Dremel tool accessories will work with this. I received this for free when I purchased a GMC miter saw. It can take a lot of time adjusting it for level and you don't want to push to hard on it after you have leveled it or it could get slightly out of level again. My tripod has a wide base on it therefore it comes into contact with one of the rubber feet on the bottom of this level which makes it very hard to tighten this level down onto my tripod. It has different speeds for the 360 degree line so can make out the line in brighter conditions. It can also do something like a 30, 45, and 60 degree line on the wall by moving the laser head back and forth. This makes for an even brighter line. I suppose if I moved the rubber foot and filed down the raised plastic next to it, I could give this level a three star rating.
