We are redoing our kitchen on the cheap, and decided to repaint our cabinets. After applying TSP and liquid sandpaper to the doors, we put on the water based primer using the 2.2mm Nozzle. Went on very smooth, and the gun has very little overspray. After primer, put on 3 coats of Behr latex paint (also using the 2.2mm nozzle). I didn't even need to thin the paint. It went on so well, I couldn't believe I hadn't found this earlier in life. Make sure to wear a chemical mask for painting purposes. This is not a good product. The hose loses its spiral integrity by only stepping on it. The metal connect is cutting into the hose only after a few uses. This is a $7 china special.

If you are spraying a latex product with an HVLP air sprayer, don't even bother with the 2.0mm nozzle kit - go straight to the 2.2mm Nozzle Kit. I have the Porter Cable HVLP air sprayer and I originally bought the 2.0mm nozzle and it would only work if I really watered down the paint. The problem with that is I hardly got any coverage and it was very runny. So then I went with the 2.2mm Nozzle and I didn't have to thin the paint if I didn't want to. However, it did spray a little bit better when I added about 5-10% water and 10% Floetrol @ 45 PSI. The Floetrol will make the paint lay more evenly. So if you need to spray latex paint, buy the 2.2mm Nozzle right away and you won't be disappointed.

I've had mine about a year now. Have re-sprayed all the plantation shutters in the house, all the louver doors, several pieces of furniture with shellac and lacquer, and all of it looks great. No problems spraying acrylic latex as long as you thin it a bit, and adding some Flotrol is a good idea. I spray latex at about 45-55 psi. Don't worry about tearing the paper gasket, the gun works just as well without it -- mason jar lid seals well enough, and of course there is an air vent in the lid anyway. I really loved using it when I refinished an old wooden file cabinet set, building up many layers of shellac and a final couple coats of polyurethane. The piece gleams now. It took me a few tries to get the hang of using this...but it is SO worth the effort. It can be a bit tricky to get the paints to come out evenly, especially if you are working a long stretch of bullnose corner. The final result was gorgeous! Waaaay better than trying to blend by hand or even worse, get a straight blunt line on the bullnose corner.

This bag is not as substantial I thought it would be after reading the description. Before we even completed packing the tree, a tear occurred in a seam. The tree fit the bag, so the tear didn't result from forcing a too big tree into a too small bag, nor did we puncture the bag. Evidently, we received the bag with a weakened area in the seam near the tear.

I first purchased this product at Lowes because of a picture I saw in a magazine...I waited months before I actually used it. I was afraid I could not do it. But when I finally decided to try it, in a matter of a couple of swipes of the roller, it was magic, I could see it was going to be beautiful.
