I bought this for my son's 5th Birthday, and he loves it. I had no idea that the tools were actually "real" tools, just in miniature-size. This makes my little guy feel grown up and a like a special helper!

I bought this to make more space in the shed that we use for storage of the family's four bikes. It works, but it is not easy for the average 5th grader to use. Application: Lift a 28 pound bike high enough to put another similar road bike underneath it. Make this easy enough that a 5th grader can do it. Result: 5th grader can accomplish this, but it is difficult enough that both she and her mother complain about it. Thus, the 3 stars. This unit makes the job possible, but not easy. Issues: 1. The rope in this version has been changed from a "cheap, cotton rope" as quoted from another review to a sturdy synthetic rope that doesn't seem to fray, but is hard for some of my family to grip onto. decent value for the money. mine wouldn't balance the load very well. It would lift the front very far before balancing the rear. This is probably due to cheap pulleys. I can't dog it too much, it is very inexpensive.

I recently purchased the 56 pocket bucket boss tool organizer and am fairly happy with the purchase. The many pockets come in real handy. The only problem I have had is with some of the stitching on a few of the pockets where the stitching has come apart. I was hoping that it would have a little heavier stitching to prevent this. It's only been a couple of the pockets, but I've only had it for about a month.

When my mother's basement flooded and a lot was lost, I searched for a way to make the room somehow usable again. I found this shelving unit at Target and brought it home to test it out. I was pleasantly surprised with just how easy to put together it was as well as just how much it holds (180 lbs per shelf). The bottom shelf sits on the floor, so if you're dealing with any water problems (my mom's basement still gets seepage), I recommend purchasing plastic bins to put on the bottom shelf. When I returned to the store to purchase more, I found out I had to order the unit and pay shipping. I found the unit here for much cheaper AND shipping was free! I now have five in her basement. I've had two of these for several years and just got another since the price was good. The hardest part about installing them was the hot weather. But I can't blame the manufacturer for that. If you measure properly and make sure that you know where your beams are, then it's a matter of making appropriate sized pilot holes so you can get the bolts in without killing yourself, but assure that they won't come out of the ceiling either. There have been a few comments about the spacing of your joists. 16 inches has been a standard for a long time, which makes them 48 inches apart with two in between. Simple, quickly assembled and relatively sturdy for a product at this price point. It's not going to hold Emelda Marcos' collection but I keep my best 8 pairs of (size 11) shoes conveniently stored and accessible. My wife can get 10 pairs on each of hers. Likely the benefit of smaller feet. :-) I looked at many different products and found none better for the money. Highly recommended.
