Does what it is supposed to do, company recommends changing out every 3 months, i go by the filter monitoring system embedded in my fridge wich usally last about a year , but that might be due to the quality of water from Baton Rouge,

I've had an Everpure filter on our household drinking water for almost 20 years. I recently ordered a replacement filter cartridge. I found that my model was discontinued, but that the H-300 would fit. When I tried to remove the old cartridge, it was stuck. I called Everpure for some tips, and, instead of selling me a new unit, they sent me one free of charge! It installed easily and works great.

This is bar none the best washer! Everything is included to simply hook it to almost any kitchen type tap, You don't need to run to the hardware store for an adapter (there is a washer to remove if it the inside thread). Ok from some of the reviews I see people can't read an owners manual, or are talking about an older modle. Read the Owners Manual then assemble the bottom plate, put in the almost idiot proof lint filter (it says Top,on the top and bottom on the bottom which is soooo easy to clean,and you must clean it every time.) level the machine adjusting the feet (you will need a level, I got a magnetic plastic one for 99 cents from the hardward store), and your ready to wash clothes. It's QUIET!!! very Quiet. You should use the HE laundry soap. It will nicely and quietly wash a set of ... Read More

I only gave this 4 stars because I don't see why it's so expensive, otherwise I am very pleased. But hey, this is GE's original replacement part for their product. If it was a dog then that would mean GE is the biggest bunch of dopes in the biz. Thankfully, that's not the case. Change it often, and you'll have fresh, clean water to enjoy year round.

After reading some of the previous reviews, I was a little hesitant to try the Brita out. I had no reason to worry, as it works like a champ and cost less than the GE OEM filter. The one trick I realized was that you couldn't just pour water in the center hole and expect it to fill the filter. The center hole fills up quickly, but doesn't actually fill up the entire filter. I had to pour water in the gaps around the center hole to truly fill the filter. You'll know when it's full, because it weighs considerably more than it does empty.

Not much to say, it's a fridge filter and seems to do the job. I have to replace mine roughly every 6 months (the fridge lights up a replacement light about that often). As other folks have noted you get the B model, which is rated for fewer gallons than the A model, but it seems that the A model may not actually be available anywhere. Either way the price is reasonable so I come back every 6 months and buy another one.
