I am well pleased with this mower and highly recommend it. Before purchasing this mower I compared reviews for the leading cordless mowers and settled on this one due to its heavier construction. I was not disappointed. This mower is very sturdy which also means it is approximately the same weight as our prvious gas powered mower but the trade off is worth it in my opinion. It is sturdy, rugged, balanced and easy to handle. Previous reviewers stated it was louder than some electrics but again this has been a good trade off. Bought this Lawn Mower mainly for my parents are who love to take care of the garden, which includes cutting the grass! They are getting on in age, but still insist to get their "exercise". This was a perfect gift for them, it is light, easy to start, quiet, and cuts the lawn beautifully, as if it was done with a pair of hand held scissors. The battery life is fine, I purchased an extra one just in case. I have personally used it to cut the lawn many times now, and can say it is so easy to use, I actually enjoy cutting the lawn. :o) It is a pleasure to look back at the immaculately cut lawn. This mower is everything I wanted. I knew there were some weak areas, from other reviews, but I bought it anyway. It cuts grass good. I like the removable battery. I like the size, it stores easily out of the way. I like the fact that it can be used on battery or cord or both. I like the easy height adjustment. The selector switch does not stay on charge by itsself but is easily wedged in position with a key. When rolling it upended through the house on the front wheels, the wheels came off because the axle is snapped into a slot. that was easy to fix by adding a simple bracket, I can see it would not be a problem if I could keep all 4 wheels on the ground. I would reccomend this item over anything else I could find.

I found this mower to be very impressive. I have a lot about 100" x 25', generally flat with a mild slope down the length of the yard, and filled with small divits between clumps of grass. I generally don't have many bushes or trees in my property, so the deviations in my wire-line were few. I also have two dogs that commonly use the yard. The set up was fairly simple; a single perimeter wire layed the groundwork along the fence. It rounds a few bushes and trees along the fence line. I found the system set-up easy enough to only require a light read of the manual. When I started the mower I hadn't cut the grass in about 2-3 weeks (which is probably not recommended), but the mower cut through the 1' grass length without many problems.
