This cord lasted only 4 uses. On the 5th use it caught on fire and burned my $90 Toro leaf blower. On the packaging there are the words "LIFETIME WARRANTY" but when I contacted Coleman Cable they said that their warranty is only good for items that didn't work at all, not for items that failed after use (sounds like an excuse). So I lost $40 on the cord and $90 on the leaf blower. Stay away from this product and stay away from Coleman Cable!

I bought this to go with the snow blower I bought on the same day. It didn't snow enough to use the snowblower and power cord for over 30 days after I purchased the set. It appeared very sturdy as it is designed for outdoor use. The FIRST time I used this, the power cord casing split to reveal the inner insulation. It had not caught on anything and it was not near any sharp objects. It split just from lengthening the power cord to give more slack for using the snow blower, somehow, the cord twisted and split. For the price, I would not expect this product to split on the first use. I called the manufacturer (after much searching for the contact information) and they told me that since I bought it through Amazon, I would have to return it through Amazon. very bare bones but fully functional jumper cables to throw in the trunk of your car. lacks the fancy safety heavy coverings on the grips you will find in much higher priced versions. if you know what you are doing and understand the protocol for safely jump starting a vehicle, don't spend the extra money on a heavier set, this set will serve you just fine.

i got this one back when my old car used to die on me all the time when i finally got a new car i was almost upset that it always starts by itself thats how good this cable is i also have another ( even more heavy duty 2 gauge ) coleman cable but that one is TOO heavy and clamps are too hard to compress. this 4 gauge one is ideal IMHO for a mid-size car. clamps operate smoothly, the cable itself is not too heavy or stiff and power transfer is good. i had a cheap cable literally MELT on me once and wouldn't start the car because it was too thin. don't use cheap jumper cables - go for a nice solid one like this.

My husband is so pleased with this product. The color red is great because you can see it as you mow, so far he hasn't run over it. Heavy but not so heavy that I can't move it myself if need be. Would definitely buy it again.

I bought this to go along with my electric lawn mower. I bought 12-gauge to make sure it delivered strong, steady power, but I'm second guessing the need given how heavy it is. This gauge in 100-foot length is weighty and takes some room. I was finally able to put it on a cord reel and it barely fit one designed for 125 feet of 14-gauge. The casing doesn't seem as durable as other cords I've worked with. The vinyl scuffed up roughly very easily on the first use. The plug ends are big and bulky, barely fits into the recess on the mower, and may not fit items that do not have a flat access. so BEWARE! I've looked for a longer set of booster cables for emergency use for our RV that was not too expensive. This one seems to fit nicely. Have not used it yet - but it looks like it will do the job just fine.

This extension cord works as expected. The end of the cord remained cool to the touch while using power tools that drew power intermittently. The lighted power indicator is a nice feature. No complaints.

I love these things, and have several that I use all year. I have several decoration-type of things that have no on/off switch and have to be plugged in and unplugged instead. But it seems like most of the places I want to put these things have plugs that are behind furniture and are hard to reach. The footswitch extension cord is the perfect solution, letting me turn on these devices quickly and easily. I generally leave them plugged in and just curl them up behind the furniture when not in use. I've never had any problems with them and highly recommend them.
