My uncle has a box like this, and I have often admired it. I am delighted to say goodbye to trips to the post office to pick up every little package because I have dogs. This mailbox is huge. Most packages that are too bit to fit in there would probably be delivered by UPS anyway. It comes with the hardware inside, though we had to buy some additional brackets to get it mounted. I highly recommend this for the modern online shopper :-)

We bought this installed it last night and tried it out it works really good we got one of these because we have a lot of packages that come and we have one package stolen one time around Christmas Time a few years ago i love how it also acts as a security alert if you've already brought your mail in how it lets you know if somebody might be messing around and opening your mailbox to catch them in the act i can't understand why some people that review this item about how loud the chime is i'm glad that it's loud like if you're in the other room or if you're far away from the blinking light the chime will let you know for me the louder the better lol if the screws are too tiny all you have to do is go out and get a screwdriver at least you'll have one when you need one for things that have ... This replacement flag is designed for a metal mailbox, however it will work nicely on brick mailboxes, provided you drill an appropriate-sized hole for a plastic wedge anchor and stainless screw. You also must drill shallow holes to accomodate extensions on the back of the base to prevent the base from moving as the flag is moved up and back. All of the drilling is simple using the included template. I am quite pleased with this product.

I am really pleased with this mailbox. It is sturdier than I expected it to be and it will hold a good deal of mail including large/oversized magazines (the slot is large enough that large pieces do not have to be folded to insert). Keep in mind when choosing black that dust/dirt will show easily.

While the steel post itself is a great post, the pre-drilled holes DO NOT match the mailbox that it is pair/sold with. Further, the bolts that come with it to attach to the mailbox are too big for the mail box. Unless you want to pay extra for someone to re-drill the holes in the box to match the post, BUY SOMETHING MADE IN JAPAN INSTEAD! AMERICANS CLEARLY CAN'T COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY ENOUGH TO BUILD A MAILBOX AND POST!

Wow!!! This mailbox is huge. Very sturdy and very inexpensive. We looked at a lot of mailboxes before we found this one. It's bigger, heavier and costs much less than any we had seen in the stores. Very easy to install. Great buy!!!

We needed a locked mailbox due to theft in the area and searched and searched for one. This is the largest we could find. We love it, BUT there are some issues. Where mail is entered in is not big enough for boxes and if the mailcarrier does not push the mail all the way in, then the mail still hangs up in the delivery slot. We did not order the pole that comes with it, but used the one we had. My husband had to drill new holes, but we got it on there, but had to add some metal to the rear to adhere it to the pole since the box itself is big and and bulky. Other than those two things, we love the security and peace of mind it gives. Mail will also stay dry.
