I've played with my SG2 for a few rounds and since then my best round dropped from a 95 to an 87 - twice in a row. It's given me more confidence in my shots and has made the game a lot more fun - no more hunting for markers or sprinkler heads!

The first time I used it, I didn't give it time to orient itself and it didn't work at all. My bad.

Since then, I give it 10 minutes on my golf bag before a round to get oriented and it's ready to go. It has worked perfectly. I purchased it because of the intelligreen feature and this has been worth every penny! Being able to target specific areas of the green and knowing its shape has saved me many strokes and is a real confidence booster when you're shooting over hazards. The extra information is a lot more useful than just ... Read More

Put this on my Trek 820 3 weeks ago. I LOVE it ! Was easy to install per detaled directions. Easy enough to set up after you "get it" there is a way you cycle through the set up options. This thing tells you what you want to know and what you need to know. If you are getting serious about cycleing or just curious about how far and how fast your riding then put this on your bike. You'll be glad you did... I am !!

I've had my Polar F11 for one month now and absolutely love it. It's worked beautifully and it has so many features that I'm still learning my way around. I was a little unsure about wearing a chest strap while working out, but once I get it in place I don't even know it's there. This has been a tremendous aid in keeping up with my workout sessions, time in each and number of calories burned.

I have been running seriously for the past 5 years, 4 to 5 times a week, preparing for weekend races, half and full marathons. I've had a more expensive watch from Timex with GPS and a lot of functions but very soon you realize that you don't need all the bells and whistles. To train properly, you just need a reliable heart rate monitor, a good display of split times and HR, and readable after workout statistics (lap times, split times, HR per lap). This watch has all that and little more (HR zones that nobody really uses with more experience). On my wish list, I would have liked to have on the display the three pieces of information: lap time, cumulative time, and HR as you can only see two of these at the same time. During a long race, when you reach a mile marker, it is important to know how fast you've ... Read More

I have previously used the digiwalker by Yamaz. After years of service, it broke and in a fit of desperation I ran to Kmart and bought this one. The digiwalker had been a gift and, honestly, I was too cheap to purchase another one. I've been using the Sportline for 1 week with frustrating results. When I wear jeans that sit lower on my waist (much more in style with typical men's pants) the results are quite good. However, in more traditional women's pants that sit at the real waist....I walked the quarter of a mile from the parking lot and it registered 4 steps. When I went for a bout of actual exercise and walked for 1.6 miles at 4mph...it again did well. Today, back in dress pants, I just did the 1.6 mile loop at a more typical walking pace...75 steps. Pointless. I need to know that my pedometer will work ... Read More

Sporting Goods : Timex Ironman T5C411 Unisex 30-Lap Digital Fitness Heart Rate Monitor Watch
This Timex heart rate monitor is a great performer. So far, the transmitter has worked flawlessly and for the price, it rivals many expensive Polar units. I have become very frustrated with the short battery life with Polar monitors, and it is nice to be able to replace the batteries yourself (transmitter battery - the watch battery itself should be replaced by a jeweler).

The one (very minor) drawback is that it has not been compatible with the receivers in my gym's exercise machines. I have a Freestyle unit that works with the machines, and of course, the Polar units will work. No problem - just use the watch and you're all set. I would imagine that this was done purposely - it most likely will prevent cross-talk with other monitors.

In short, it's a great monitor for the price and ... Read More
