Talk about great birthday present! My girlfriend and I go running every night, but with her going overseas for several months, she was looking for some sort of motivation to keep exercising. Not only does this stopwatch measure time, lap settings, and all the rest of that jazz, but it also keeps track of clock time. She laughed about my choice of gift but appreciated being able to tell and track the time.

I have a wireless speedometer that I was replaced with this unit. I choose Sigma because when I needed a part for my other Sigma they were very helpful sending me the part I lost. This BC906 is easy to use and VERY easy to read. I would buy it again.

This is a great computer. I especially like having the current time displayed with all the rest of the data. However, the temperature is worthless. Any sunlight at all and the temp reads way too high. Why bother??

This is a solid basic heart rate monitor that functions as advertised. It is adequate for anyone other than world class athletes that need more bells and whistles.

The pedometer is the reason I bought this watch. Accuracy was OK. to be expected for the price without GPS. Easy to read numbers. Complaints are the face scratched very easily and made it hard to read the numbers. The face plate popped off after 4 months and had to glued several times. Very complicated to figure out. Last but not least the band was awful. The color does stay pretty for long after you sweat it turns peach on the band which looks terrible with the pink face. It always looked dirty.(bleach did not help)

I was able to use topographical maps and the watch to know where I was on the mountain. I was also able to leave the rock face when the barometer predicted incoming rain. This watch is great!! I have Peripheral Neuropathy, which causes my fingers to be numb, so I cannot take my pulse while exercising. I was told about this kind of watch by the Physical Therapist teaching the chronic pain management class I'm taking. I checked out Amazon, of course, and found a large selection. I liked the look of this one and am quite pleased. It's easy to use, has large enough numbers to read easily, even without my glasses, and it does all kinds of things, like count caleries, count steps, be a stop watch, and ... it even tells time. It looks good too!! Another lady in the class, who has the same problem finding her pulse rate while exercising, has ordered one from Amazon, too.

"Lensatic" Military Compasses are some of the best and this one is very reasonably priced. This compass is black powder-coated which means it does not scratch. The Dial is extremely easy to read and floats easily in the liquid chamber. The sighting-slit unit/top cover lens is perfect for accuracy and sits perfectly on your map. This unit even reads in the moonlight. Nice inexpensive and lightweight compass for hiking/backpacking. "Lensatic" is the leader in compasses.

I bought this watch to track distance, speed, and calories expended during my runs. I suppose it works alright if you can properly input your personal information (average stride length, etc.) I've had to play with it a lot to get it close to acurate. The one complaint I have is that it is slightly generous on telling you how many calories you've burned. It adds about 10 per mile. One plus is that it stores 8 days worth of workout information. I'm not sure if it can store multiple entries per day though. I prefer sleek, light-weight watches. I was afraid this one would be too bulky and manly, but it's not too bad. Regardless, it's still a really fun product.
