This stop watch is easy to see since it has large numbers. You know the buttons are pushed since it has a firm click. It would have been nice if it had a light since I may go to the track at dusk, but I knew it didn't before I purchased it. For the price, this stop watch is worth it with or without a light since I didn't want to pay more than $20 for a stopwatch.

It does what it's supposed to do: count steps. I was just looking for a simple cheap way to give me an idea of how much I walk each day. A few years ago I started walking back and forth to work, as well as running errands around town. This pedometer did that. I don't know how accurate it is, but it measured pretty close to what I thought. The biggest surprise was how comfortable and unobtrusive it is. I forget I have it on until I go home and take my belt off. I do have a bit of a belly and I thought I would feel the device on the top of my belt, but no, I didn't. Simple and cheap, and it works too!

This is a solid basic heart rate monitor that functions as advertised. It is adequate for anyone other than world class athletes that need more bells and whistles.

Reasonably priced, good performance. Recommended to anyone . . . some quirks: (1) My unit does not turn on just by motion of the wheel. It must be switched on before recording mileage, etc. A minor hassle, and maybe even a flaw in my unit. (2) Freewheeling tire can record weird speeds, i.e., 99.4 MPH. Keep the computer off if the bike wheel is not on the ground. (3) Certain locations in our city have radio frequency interference that makes the unit go haywire for a few seconds. I REALLY like that if you record your mileage on a piece of paper, then switch out the battery, you can restore the original mileage recording rather than having the odometer completely reset. Smart. It's a very good compass. It have a strong aluminum cover. The magnifier glass looks very good. It find the direction quickly. Fits very well in my pocket for carrying.

Talk about great birthday present! My girlfriend and I go running every night, but with her going overseas for several months, she was looking for some sort of motivation to keep exercising. Not only does this stopwatch measure time, lap settings, and all the rest of that jazz, but it also keeps track of clock time. She laughed about my choice of gift but appreciated being able to tell and track the time.

This is a great computer. I especially like having the current time displayed with all the rest of the data. However, the temperature is worthless. Any sunlight at all and the temp reads way too high. Why bother??

Unit works as advertised. I ended up buying 3 units. Ran into one problem that was takened care of by brookstone. Units were gifts that ended up in different locations.One unit would not work.Tried it in a different location worked Ok. (Over hundred miles between locations.) Unit was OK. Found out the company that provides the signal was changing some towers from analog to digital.Bookstone said they would exchange unit at their store for a digital unit at no cost.They did require a copy of the reciept.
