I bought these shoes specifically for my walking class. They are very nice looking (always a plus:). They do seem a bit heavy. That could be because I tend to buy very light weight shoes (I really prefer going barefoot if at all possible :), so that could be the reason for them feeling heavy. They are very well made. I have put a lot of miles on them already, both on indoor track and outside on cement and asphalt and have seen no issues with them looking like they will fall apart in the future. (I hate when you just get your shoes broke in and they start to fall apart) Overall they are very comfortable. I did not have any problems with shipping or the wrong size or color.

Love these shoes, good price. My always cold feet are cozy and warm with a thick pair of wool socks and these for car travel, short walks, or sitting around the office or house. BUT, as others have noted, they tend to run short (heel to toe) and I had to return them for one size larger than I would ordinarily wear for regular street shoes. I also bought three other Sorel boot products: slippers, rain boots, tall snow boots. All one size larger required, all great. I especially like the pull-on feature. No lost, broken, wet, frozen, tangled laces.

good shoe for general kick-around and running on both hard surface or semi-hard track. The sole is stiff, and the shoe is not light at 13.6 oz. It is however, comparable in weight to the likes of NIKE shox and the New Balance 800 - 1000+ series. The Microbounce series tend to run narrow, and the sole does require a little break-in time for both the insole to mold to the shape of your feet, as well as for the coils in the outsole to stretch and loosen up.
