The moment I opened the box, this ball looked wrong. The surface was wrinkled and the stitching was visible because the ball seemed to be separating at the seams. I immediately returned it and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Buy a Gilbert ball.

I could only give this combo 4 stars because the "Protective Flex Cup" is no comparison for the company's X-Flex cups. Had that cup been included with these compression shorts, it would've been 5 stars with no question. So, if you pick this up, check out the X-Flex aka Carbon Flex cup up to replace the not-as-nice basic Flex cup included. Otherwise, it is still better than most other cup/jock combos out there. So if you can't find the other, this will do in a pinch. As for the compression shorts, due to the "fit" of them with the cup, this is probably best suited for Hockey or Martial Arts, not for something like Baseball.

This is about the best bag I could find that was big enough to hold all my stuff but not too big. Lots of pros, only one con... Pros: 1. The mesh ball carrier at one end is great for drying out wet flipflops and other wet gear. 2. Plenty of space for your workout log, MP3 player, gloves, etc, in the compartment between the mesh and the main area. 3. Main area holds a ton of stuff. I typically bring two towels, your standard workout cloths, plus a tracksuit, multiple water bottles, and my lunch in this area. 4. The far end pocket has mesh areas so your shoes/other stuff can air out. Con (and a minor one): The strap is really wide at one end, making the main pocket somewhat annoying to open fully.
