Pluses: Surprisingly bright! Tripod design + tilt head aids in aiming the light where you want it.

Negatives: Even though it has a keychain ring it seems a bit big to put in a pocket. Might work fine in a purse. Tripod legs seem to fold up too easy.

This is a good product. If used while running it tends to slip down on the head over time.

It is about 1/2 the size, and 2 batteries only, of the 4 battery light I thought I was replacing. I probably did not read the fine print but that big difference was not apparent.

I wanted a flashlight-lantern combination for power outages and camping. I found only two models of this type in my area and went with the Coleman. I've used it three times and on the last time in my time of need: (Hurricane Ike and the ensuing power failure), this thing failed me. Thought it was the battery but it was not. It is the switch. The switch won't activate the light. Luckily, I had another one but a different model that I've used for many years that keeps coming through for me. The fit and finish of the coleman seems flimsy....almost frail. This product shouldn't use the coleman name. Get something else that is more durable and reliable.

77.Mag Lite Mini AA Maglite Blister Pack from: Mag Lite

Thats how this works. You rotate the top portion around and the brightness and focal length increases. But then it comes off at the end. I read this about this product before, but its kind of annoying when you want to use this in a hurry and it becomes loose.

Would have preferred a switch.

Its quite compact and slips easily into your pocket. Would buy again from Maglite, but not the same design.

Advice: look for something else, but make sure it doesnt operate the same way as this device.

78.Fenix P3D Cree Premium Q5 LED Flashlight 215 lumens from: Fenix Flashlights

I use this light in conjunction with the Twofish adapter on my commute bike (Cree also makes a handlebar adapter). It fits the bill for a wickedly bright light needed for those low light trail excursions. The multi-level output is great for my needs, as low works great for twilight / sunset - so others can see me. Mid (low/Med and med/Hi) works great as the twilight goes to night. The switch is stable and doesn't trigger even on the rockiest trails.

I've ridden with this light out on the trails in the South Bay where there
are no lights. With this baby running in HI/Mid (the highest output setting before rotating to the 215 lumens), a nice corona (the light on the sides of the main beam) is full and consistent, without a center dead spot like so many other LED lights produce. You can ... Read More

I bought this for my wife as a christmas present. She's hooked on The Amazing Race and figured if the contestants have one, she wanted one as well! When I shopped for one, a woman told me about the Zipka plus. She kept it in her purse and used it constantly.

The unit was as good as was described. light, compact, and convenient. I found myself borrowing hers so much I had to get one for myself, hence this review.

I am a freelance programmer by profession, and find myself often digging around under desks and inside computers. This has made my life so much easier. I always have it with me, and put it on whenever I need, no matter how silly I may look to others. I also just used in during re-wiring a doorbell in an old house--a dirty, miserable job. But I couldn't have seen in the ... Read More
