Great flashlight in every way. Small, sleek, powerful. Perfect for everyday use as well as camping and hunting. Would be afraid to use it on a boat because it will go straight to the bottom. Uses a single, very bright, white Led, and 2 CR123 batteries. I had another 5 Led flashlight which I thought was bright until I got this one. Be sure to buy your cr123 batteries online because they are much cheaper than a store. If you know of a better one, please let me know. Steve.

I purchased an orange lantern in 2007, gave it to my granddaughter as they have frequent power outages. During power outage of 10 days after IKE we used this lantern and it was great. We only had to replace the 4 D cell batteries once. It lit up a whole room. I ordered and have received 2 more of these to store with other power outage supplies.

Glad I bought this. The first night after receiving the Datexx Sentina Emergency Smart Light, my electricity went out - and the light came on! Doesn't need any charging. Plugged in where the "nightlight" doesn't bother my sleeping ( the nightlight feature is somewhat bright for my taste), I am able to find my way around a dark house when the motion sensor comes on. No more stumbleing. The motion sensor stays on just the right amout of time. I have also found the flashlight feature very handy - was looking for an emergency light with a flashlight that stays on for a decent amount of time. All in all, this little smart light is very comforting to have around. Will buy a second one before winter.

We recently received this as a gift for my son. It is not this particular model, but similar. It is exactly what it is. A firefly lantern. My son loves catching the fireflies and putting them in the lantern. We display it on our patio table and takes great pride in "offering" us light!! He has also caught small butterflies and placed them in it. He cannot wait to go big boy camping so he can take his new toy. The model we received also included a mini light lantern, 2 glow sticks and a microscope to look at bugs up close and person. This is a GREAT buy for your LITTLE EXPLORER...and I suggest, don't bring bugs in the house just in case one is smart enough to escape!!! Enjoy.

Try 10 hours of useable (that you can read by) light, and perhaps 25 hours of any light at all. But then comes the real fun - changing the batteries. AAA batteries are easy to find these days, and I had plenty in stock when the time came. But the three phillips head screws that keep the light together are an odd size. None of the many phillips head screwdrivers in the house fit it, not even my computer sized ones or the ones I had to fix sunglasses (the screws are somewhere inbetween those two sizes). If I have to buy a screwdriver to change the batteries on one light, it's not worth my time. Especially if that light doesn't even work as advertised.

The TK11 is such an outstanding flashlight that it puts Fenix in the same league as Surefire in terms of build quality, while being far ahead in terms of innovation (Surefire seems to have somewhat missed the boat on high-powered LEDs, that is why they do not offer more than 100 Lumen LED lights). And let us not forget that it sells at a fraction of an L5 or L2, not to mention a U2. I have been collecting and using flashlights as an outdoorsman for many years, and to me the top two brands today for small, high-powered LED flashlights are JetBeam and Fenix. I would rate the Fenix K11 as being superior to the JetIII Pro I.B.S. or Ultra because it is more rugged, its forward-clickie switch is far easier to operate and its power regulation is also better. Bought this headlamp for Burning Man - solid product, worked well. The switch sticks a bit, but its probably just the dust. Nice and bright - good price for the brand.
