The holster is well made, it has a snug fit, holds the light securely, and is easy to access. However, the velcro seems second-rate. I've had it for about 6 months and the flap doesn't stay closed any more. I'm probably going to have to sew some better quality velcro on to fix it.

So I had this for less than an hour and it broke. The button would get stuck, and when the button did work it was like there were no batteries in the thing. And yes I replaced the batteries to make sure that wasn't the problem. I opened it up and the insides just disgusted me. The insides is just covered in glue. Save your money.... don't get this product.

For $10, it's a great deal. The light is very bright, even on low. The unit is not too bulky or heavy. The brightness is adjusted by the number of clicks on the power button, so it's very easy to power on/off and adjust.

Not much to it. The Tikka headlamp allows for easy swap of lenses. It is an inexpensive, yet effective solution to those that need to alternate between white and a colored light.

I purchased one of these, and the first time out of the box I tried to spread the legs, only to find one of them snapped off very easily. It turns out that one of them is a stationary leg (not described in the instructions), and does not move. It has a pin that extends through it, locking it in place. The other two legs do move, but this should definitely be explicitly expressed in the instructions -- which it is not. Other than that, the can stand seems to work fine, I am just disappointed in the instructions.

I'm quite versed with the world of flashlights. I frequent CandlePowerForums a lot, so I know a bunch about this type of stuff. With that said... I bought this light because I wanted to have both long and short wave lengths of UV light, that way if one thing didn't light up with one wavelength, it was sure to light up with the other. Make sure you buy the Black one for this dual UV light feature. The overall construction of this light is pretty solid and hefty. The weight of the 3 C batteries adds to the heft, but even without them, it's a beefy light with aggressive knurling.
