I bought these for a trip to Costa Rico and found them to be excellent for birding as well as general use. Since then I have used them in Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. They are not bothered by rain/humidity or fog, are easy to focus and use. I have a small face and found other high quality binoculars were too wide. My native guide thought they were excellent. Recommend. Only complaint-the bag they come in is pitiful.

The binoculars are great at the 8 power, exactly like my wife's 8 power Celestron. But when you try to zoom in to the max zoom, the field of vision gets very small and then the object I'm zooming into gets out of focus. However, if I only zoom to about 10 or 12 I have no problem. I've used the binoculars birding at the wildlife preserve and they are great...also light in weight. I just got back from a trip to Central America, and the binoculars really helped me spot the Howler monkeys and sloths. I was concerned that the humidity would fog them up, but I had no problems. The Amazon price was a lot cheaper for my zoom than the price I paid for my wife's Celestron from a brick and motar store.

The image is clear and bright. The center focus and right eye focus control were easy to use. Came with a comfortable neck strap which would be great for outdoor viewing. Great price and good value!

These binoculars are really good for the price. I've read Steiner is the best and that's what I wanted. Very pleased with color and clarity and simple operation, nice little carry case too!

These are the most fragile binoculars I have ever owned. If you drop them two inches with the case on, they will need to go back for repairs. I swear this to be the truth. Two inches in the case, out of alignment, $22.50 for repair and shipping. If they are so fragile, they need to provide a better case!!!! I traded them in for the Nikon 8x42 Monarch ATB

I BOUGHT THIS RIFLE FORWARD GRIP AND FOUND I ORDERED THE WRONG ONE, I EMAILED WITHIN MINUTES TO SEE IF I COULD CHANGE MY ORDER, THEN AGAIN, NO ANSWER, I RECIEVED THE ITEM AND THEN HAD TO PURCHACE THE CORRECT ONE.
