My family and I go up to the Yellowstone area every year and enjoy looking for wolves and bears. This year I decided to do like the professionals and buy a spotting scope. I found a highly rated one on Amazon, but then I stumbled on these binoculars. While the scope was good, the binoculars were amazing. The main advantage of a scope is that it holds still so you can see the animals. The problem is sometimes people bump the scope with their eyes thus moving and it and inconveniently the animals decide to move as well. With these binoculars the wide field of view makes it easy to find the animals and with image stabilization there is no problem seeing them clearly. I purchased these binos because they appeared to be a good deal. However, they didn't turn out to be. The binos arrived with one of the lenses bent inward significantly. I returned them to amazon with no hassle. The representative who helped me over the phone was very nice and even sent me a replacement the very next day. The replacement binos seemed fine at first but then I noticed that the lenses were slightly crooked. So when viewing an object, both eyes have different perspectives which creates a blurred view. The only way to view an object clearly is to keep one eye closed. I would return these too, but I threw away the manufacturer's packaging. I wouldn't recommend these. If I had to do it all over again, I would pay a little more for something better.

I've tried almost all of the rangefinder and GPS products out there and this one was the most user friendly of the bunch on a round-by-round basis. Lightweight, accurate and easy to use (without slowing up play) - what more can a golfer ask for? The Skycaddie is pretty cool, and can give you a lot more data, but at the cost of being at times confusing and a drag on play time. The V2 is just a more practical tool for the job....

I share my love of bird watching with my family-which necessitates more than one pair of binoculars. These are not expensive, compact,lightweight, sharp and bright lens and easy/fast to focus: everything I want and need!

This seems like a good knife, especially at the price. I've not been pounding on it with a hammer, or using it to chisel marble, but the constrction seems sound, the blade well mounted and of high quality, the grip easy on the hand, and the mechanism locks positively and well. Reflecting upon another review, it is possible that a smaller hand might find the thumb-knurl on the small side and difficult to open, for lack of leverage and inadequate purchase. This is only a guess, but may be a matter of consideration for others. As already noted, I find the blade easy to open and the lock mechanism tight and solid. These are great binoculars - we do a lot of cruising and bird-watching and they meet the trade-off between resolution and weight. I think they are pricey, but with two pair now, I guess I am convinced.
