Instructions are very weak, but if you tinker with it long enough, this was a good purchase. Very low cost and provides the necessary information for bicycling. YOu have to make sure the sensor goes by the magnet at just the right spot or this won't work. However, the "sensor" is actually just a small part of a small piece which you need a magnifying glass to read. Overall, I would give it a 4 out of 5.

My parents purchased this bike for my 23 month old son for an early 2 year old birthday gift. My son is a bit tall for his age (90th %tile) and he fits it perfectly with the seat forward. My only flaw with this bike is that it came with a crack in the wooden board which has the Schwinn name written on it. My father put the bike together and said that the screw/bolt was drawn too tight and cracked the wood. This part was already assembled when shipped to us. My son learned how to peddle in three days and is doing well on steering after a couple of weeks. He loved the tassles on the handlebars, and called it a motorcycle when we pulled the blanket off to reveal the surprise. I bought this seat for my wife and though we haven't ridden very much since then, it's apparent that it's very comfortable. I was a little cautious because it wasn't a gel seat, but it is certainly as comfortable as any gel seat I've tried. Thumbs up for sure.

I ordered this through Amazon and it arrived on time and intact. The staples on the bottom of the box had become completely torn loose in transit, so only the loose nylon straps were holding it closed. Nonetheless, all the parts were there, mostly because everything is taped together inside the box. There were no loose items to fall out. Assembly took a couple hours, but I wasn't in a hurry. Everything fit together fine and the instructions seemed descriptive enough to me. Packaging was good inside the box and I liked the way they bubble packed the small parts rather than relying on human counting and bagging. While I haven't had this seat quite as long as several of the riders doing reviews on it, one thing that became immediately apparent to me was it is one of the most uncomfortable seats I have every ridden if not properly adjusted! That being said, I really have to state that with taking the time to properly adjust the seat it is really a great seat and quite comfortable. Like a couple of other people mentioned, it does take a bit of time and a few trial & error attempts to get it just right. At least it did for me. I just took my seat adjustment wrenches with me and stopped and adjusted till I got it right. It was well worth the effort as it is now a pleasure to ride.

This bike crapped out on my stroke patient father after 95 days. They gave me this nonsense that it was passed the 90 days and I would have to pay for service to get it fixed. They should have just honored it. Seriously, if you can't make a product that lasts more than 90+ days, you shouldn't be in business. I'll never buy Schwinn again.

I have been committed to fitness for more than 50 years, have had memberships in fitness clubs for more than 30 years, have tried all equipment, and still rate the Schwinn Airdyne upright exercise bike the best total-body exercise. I recommend it for everyone, no matter what age. If you can sit up, you can work out at your own personal level on a Schwinn.

Even though this seat is a gel seat, it still feels like a serious performance seat. The picture makes the seat look fairly wide, but the reality is it has more of a racing saddle profile than a cruiser seat. I have yet to take it on a long trip, but I believe it will alleviate some discomfort. I think I'll still need to work on developing muscles in certain key areas though!

We have a 1000 foot dock and my old trike had to be retired. Salt water/salt air does its damage. This Schwinn adult tricycle is such a better quality than my old bike at a VERY reasonable price with free delivery. The basket is huge, too and would even carry a 48 quart cooler. It is so sturdy. Yes, you have to put it together but it is worth the effort. It arrived so quickly!

The picture as seen by me, appears to be indented on both sides-in reality, it is not. It's not soft either- disappointed.
