It is rare to find a product today that FAR exceeds all the rest. This Planet Bike Blinky is head and shoulders above the many other good lights. It is Bright, Bright, BRIGHT!!! - compact, and well constructed. All of the flashing lights are red and the lens cover is clear. This allows the light to be seen in daylight as well as at night. I combine this Planet SuperFlash with the CatEye TL-LD150 White (the brightest white flasher) for maximum visibility. If you or your children are biking on the roads - this is a must. Also good for children's backpacks.

This light is quite bright. I main reason I got it is so cars can see me better but it's quite nice to have the road illuminated on dark streets. You might want to get a bigger brighter light if you plan on riding on completely unlit streets regularly but this should do the job in most cases. I don't know how long the batteries last, but I've used my light daily for a couple of months now and it still seems to be going strong.

I purchased this light over three months ago, along with one for my wife, and we have not been disappointed. Most importantly, we can be seen with this light by others. My wife and I ride together in and around downtown Newport, RI and often at night. This light definitely alerts others to a bicycle rider ahead. Also, I had no problems mounting the lights to my Diamondback mountain bike and my wife's Diamondback mountain bike -- it took less than 10 minutes. At less than $8, I would definitely make this purchase again if I needed another light.

I'd recently bought a head light from Target and used it to commute to work,was almost hit by a car due to fog! This headlight cuts through fog and allows oncoming traffic to notice you. If you have poor vision and you need a headlight to see 20ft out, this is not the light for you. If you need a light to be seen, can't beat this unit! It only has two lighting options but for the price I'm not complaining. I feel you pay for what you get!

This is definitely made for letting others know you are there not for riding dark trails at night, but, it does that very well and at a great price. Front and back are plenty bright enough for getting attention. Both mounted easily. My only tiny complaint is that they don't default to the same mode one to flashing and the other to solid.

This light from Planet Bike is one of the greatest bicycle products on the market today. Ask anyone who uses them, they are super bright, durable, and good on batteries. The battery size is also a commonly used AAA, not a watch battery or odd size. Should you have any problems, I've heard customer service at Planet Bike is excellent. I would give this item an A+

I'm waiting on my second warranty replacement of the Protege Bike Computer in less than a month. The first computer was delivered October 28,2008, from Amazon. It installed quickly, but was exchanged a couple of weeks later (around the middle of November,2008) under warranty from Planetbike (MAX SPEED read 48mph/which was an error). The replacement they sent me did not work (the sensor could only detect the magnet if I rubbed the magnet physically against it, and even then it would not detect it most of the time). They said last week they would send another replacement. It's now December 1,2008, and it has not arrived. Basically, I purchased a Planetbike Computer the end of October, and I still don't have one on my bike. You think after the second warranty replacement in a month they would send it 'overnight' ... This is a great computer. I especially like having the current time displayed with all the rest of the data. However, the temperature is worthless. Any sunlight at all and the temp reads way too high. Why bother??

This light is easy to attach and shines brightly, both to the rear and to the sides. It would have received five stars had it not been for the choice of batteries. Although Planet isn't the only manufacturer to do this, trying to power 7 LEDs on two AAA batteries is just plain silly.
