This is a great little device--it provides cold and compression, and allows you to move around while recovering. I had a labrum repair followed by frozen shoulder, and icing is a must for comfort and sanity. I believe this is the least expensive such product with free shipping on Amazon, and it works great to boot. Makes frozen peas look like poop. For knee icing, CVS type stores offer a nice wrappable ice pack, but they don't really have good shoulder contraptions.

This sleeve works and fits very well for me. As with anything, you have to take care of it (air it out after use. Hand wash in warm water), but it fits me well. I have 14" biceps (around) and a 7" wrist. It's a little loose on my wrist, but very snug on my biceps. Also, this can be worn on either arm, but feels much better on the right. MUCH BETTER!

I injured my shoulder in high school playing football, and now that i play rugby in college, this product really helps keep my shoulder where it belongs. its bulky, but i like it! i also like the strap pretty tight around my chest, which constricts breathing a bit, but rather safe than sorry.

After trying some other braces this one is by far my favorite. There is a support bar on the bottom, but not on top, so there is a small range of motion available if wrapped loosely. It still provides good support if you wrap it tightly. Some of the other braces irritated or even seemed to bruise me, but this one is very comfortable. I highly recommend this brace for its quality, comfort, and support.

I purchased these for my son. He plays High School Varsity Football. They are great to wear under his football pants, an alternative to taking the pads in/out every time we wash the pants. I will buy them again, and would recommend them.

This brace is exactly the same as the brace given to me by my orthopedist after my grade III ankle sprain. It's just like taping up the ankle but with velcro so you can do it over and over again. If this brace won't save your ankle then nothing will.

I sprained my ankle playing basketball about 8 months ago. It healed pretty quickly and I started using an old ankle brace that I have. Then I had a doozy of a sprain on the same ankle about a month ago... WITH THE OLD BRACE ON. I didn't think that could happen. Somehow I hurt ligaments and tendons on both sides of the ankle, high and low. X-rays showed no breaks though. I'm just now starting to play again. I bought this McDavid Lightweight model and have been very impressed with it. It's a sturdy material that gives a lot more support than my old brace. And it has the steel stays for even more support. It doesn't feel like it hurts my "quickness" any more than the old brace did. It pretty much keeps the ankle from turning but allows you to extend it without too much resistance.
