I've never had Dr. Martens before, this was a first and man are they great. They don't just look beautiful with the embroidered roses ( I couldn't resist and bought a pair in black the same day )Their also super comfortable , I can walk around running errands all day long with these babies on and look styleish while I'm doing it.

If you work in a real environment that requires the DR.MArtin boot as a work boot please rethink your purchase. DR.Martin is flying solely on the name Dr. Martin. They are now made in china and Dr. Martin does not stand by their product. My husband is a welder/fitter at a power plant, the average work boot lasts him at least 6 months. Even a pair of Wal-Mart boots would last him longer than these! Having experience with DR. Martin I tried to urge my husband not to buy them. I had martin boots with padding before, within 2 months it ripped and worn thin. No surprise to me when the sole started coming apart at the bottom of the padding and the stitching ripped loose. Sure they were comfortable but they were very poorly made to be labeled as a work boot. No boot over 100.00 should fall apart ... Read More

This was supposed to be my second pair of Dr. Martens. I was quite disappointed when they arrived, I ordered the same size (7 UK) of my previous pair for this pair and they turned out to be smaller! If you're ordering this model, look at the size conversion chart and go one size up of your actual size.

I love this style of shoe and I'm sorely disappointed Dr. Martens is no longer producing shoes in this fashion style. I wish I had jumped on them earlier, as sizes and colors are very limited now. I owned a pair of sketchers in a similar style. I was looking for Docs but could not find this style in stores. I used the sketchers as my work shoes and they did not last long. The soles lasted probably 9 months. I recently bought these recently but had to buy a size larger due to limited options on colors. I love the shoe but hate Dr. Martens for no longer producing them. Excellent quality as with all Dr. Martens products. These will surely last longer than 9 months!
