I bought these binocs for casual use, and they're great for that! I leave them in the side of my hiking bag... they're light and take up barely any room. 12x power is very nice for such a compact design. Optics are good but not amazing. For $20, these are unbeatable value.

Nice, compact, light-weight binoculars. Great for birding if you don't want to shell out the cash for a "high-end" pair. I can safely say that I see better with these and find them more comfortable (because they are so light-weight) than some of the other, pricier binoculars I've tried. My only complaint is that they aren't fully coated, which means that they fog up eventually, which means that they only last for approximately six months if you use them regularly, but what do you expect for $13? Great for the price. And for beginners.

It is awesome. I had the old version of the smallest rengefinder on earth without pinseeker technology. I believe the tour pro. It worked well but if there was no wind and you were quite aways from the green sometimes you could not pick up the flag. This one, if in question, takes the distnce from the closer object. Highly recommended.

When I first received these binoculars I was seeing a double image. I tried re-adjusting them as per the instructions but no luck. I then contacted Bushnell tech support via their website's email. No luck, they never responded to me, even as I write this review. It's been over a month now. I took it upon myself to un-screw each of the larger lenses's then re-screwed them on and bingo I fixed the double image problem. They now work great. Even though I believe that Bushnell has good products, I would not make them my first choice in purchasing any other products that they manufacture simply because of the total lack of their customer service practices.

The actual dimnetions of this product are 7" long and 7" wide ( at the end of the product- the part that we hold to our eyes is not quite as wide and fit to the eyes. These are VERY strong binoculars, they are 16x the magnification, the 50 ( the other #) is simply the size of the front lens.. its 50 mm in diameter ( wide)... they are very strong and you can see things very far away. If you need a pair for a concert or a football game or something, then I believe these would be way to powerful and large. ( also I read somewhere, and I think its true that anything over 10x the magnification ( these are 16x) that you should use a tripod, since its too hard to see properly, since it needs to be compltely still.

I bought this gun to dial in my 4yr old son's snowmobile for grass dragging. After making some modifications the gun said his sled was going 18mph and when my son raced again his time slip said 18mph so I'd say the gun is pretty accurate.
