My daughter squealed with delight as she opened these skates as a gift for her eighth birthday. Mission accomplished. The construction is heavy. The design is retro, and resembles something from the Soviet Union or North Korea. The style is so basic, and even the packaging seems unimaginative. She wanted quad skates in a girlie color, so this is it. I can't believe that these cost this much.

These skates were a huge hit for our 5 year old son. The fact that they are so adjustable is a big plus. Good ankle support. We had a little problem with one of the buckles, but were able to fix it. I would recommend these to anyone.

I chose the Chicago brand from past experience, and I was not disappointed. We are a three generation family of Chicago skate users, and the quality of workmanship is still there after all these years. Upon examination of these skates, I found them to be sturdy and well balanced, with excellent stops, and "stylish" enough to please the 9-year-old they were purchased for. I would recommend these skates to anyone who wants the child in their lives to have the safest and best skates money can buy; price-wise, you can't go wrong with these.

My kids love these skates. They wear them all over the house and have a blast. It helps burn up some of that energy on days when you are stuck inside with nothing to do. My husband and I tried them and they are a lot of fun for grown ups too!

One of the best present under the tree were the green carpet sliders.These shoes need no running start and slide as good if not better as socks on wood floors.I imediately started sliding after unwrapping these toys.All you need to do is get a push and you will slide.These shoes are very durable.If you or your child needs some fun on days when you have to stay inside you should definately get these.Or if you just want to have fun these are a great way to have fun.If you are on the fence about getting these please do so.:-)

I bought these for my wife as a gift. Here's what she said: "Oh my god, these things are soo much fun! Oww, my butt [as she fell]. I can't wait to take these to work!" My wife works at a place that essentially has a large circular hallway, all carpet. In all seriousness, the skates work well. They're fun, simple, and easy to use.

Great way to get the kids working up a sweat indoors. My son got a pair and then we had to get another pair for his younger brother so they could skate together. We also bought a sets as birthday gifts for some friends that are really into hockey and they LOVE them. Great unique item.
