I bought these for the kids who love playing on the driveway and without a net. They only had rackets and shuttlecocks (we call them birdies) from the $1 store. Alas all the old shuttlecocks met their demise, so I bought them two inexpensive packs from Amazon. These were the best of the two kinds I bought. Being plastic, they don't hold their shape, but the noses stay attached. And the price is great!

Some friends and I asked our Intramural department to purchase two sets of Speedminton. If you are not sure what Speedminton is, it is a combination of tennis, racketball, and badminton. We played for the first time two days ago and played for almost 2 hours. It was a great workout and easy to pick up if you have played any of the sports mentioned above. Yesterday, we had a few more classmates playing and we were able to play doubles. The doubles matches were not as intense as singles, but overall a great great game. The Pro Performance set is better quality than the Speedminton Bag. The Pro set comes with higher quality rackets. I would advise purchasing extra speeders. What can you say, they're birdies! Not the best quality, but we'll just be bashing them around the backyard. How good do they have to be?

The information says these last up to three hours but I find they last much longer than that. The first one we tried, I used a bit too much force when snapping it and it ruptured so be careful when you activate them. I am experimenting with freezing them or heating them after use to see if it is possible to reactivate them. Will try to update if I have any success.

Didn't realize what a deal I was getting until after I ordered. Paid $[...] each for 2 rackets, and now I see they're $[...]. I couldn't be happier. Strings are nice and tight and they are extremely light weight. I'm just a beginner, but I'm very happy with my purchase!

i purchased the pro performance speedminton speeders. i have been playing badminton for 30 years and i'm acustomed to the normal amount of swing needed to volly a shuttlecock. these speeders are impossible to play with. if you hit it with a minimal amount of swing, it goes a mile. nice idea to be able to play badminton in the dark, but with these you need a badminton court the size of a football field. (i'm not kidding, the first one is on my two story roof.) i'm going to try and drill some holes in them to lighten them up so you might actually be able to play with them. also the light sticks are very small and are not very bright. if you love badminton as much as i do, save your money and play during the day.

Delivery was fast. Net good quality. Rackets medium quality. Shuttle-cocks very cheap quality. I suggest that you automatically buy some spare shuttle cocks. I have used the set for about 3 weeks and 1 racket has broke, not because of abuse, but because of aggressive playing time. I would rate this as a good buy for the price.

I had not heard of this brand before, but I was willing to give it a try. Surprise! This racket is actually quite good (stiff and light), despite its low price. There is one thing quite peculiar. I bought this one which has a stated size of 10mm and another Halex racket of size 8.5mm. Comparing the two, the grip dimensions are EXACTLY the same! The 8.5mm model is $3 cheaper, but I'd reccommend this 10mm model, because it is an one-piece construction, rather than the 8.5mm model's multi-piece construction.

I've been using one of these the last several weeks playing many games and hitting hard and still it's in good condition. Good price and solid. I like the cork tip vs the plastic tip on some of the others. I recommend using a wind ring along with it. At one point the blue plastic strip came off but it's still fully functional so it doesn't really matter. If you have problems breaking your shuttlecock try these!
