DO NOT BUY ANY OF THOSE EXPENSIVE BACK BRACES OUT THERE! Instead buy this one! It's surprisingly comfortable (if worn with a shirt underneath)and pulls back your shoulders for those of us that have poor posture. Came in a very timely manner. THANK YOU!

It definitely helped my back, but was too bulky for my work chair. Also, every time I got up it needed to be readjusted when I sat back down and that got annoying very quickly. It's currently living in my desk drawer.

I've had this product for two months. I liked its size and portability - it fit in my daypack so I could take it on the plane. Just as the instructions say - it works best on a hard chair. I used it in the rental car and it helped some, but the stiff foam of the BackJoy is not quite stiff enough, nor does it raise my hips higher than my knees, which is what I need for my hips and lower back. On a firm surface it definitely brings you into a more upright position, on your "sit-bones".

This is a great product. I have bursitis in my hips and this helps since I sit at work all day. The only complaint I have is that the fragrance of the plastic is very strong. I tried scrubbing with baking soda and exposing to strong sun but the frangrance still remains. Its not offensive, just very strong.

I loved it from the beginning. Perfect size, no weight, inflatable which makes it flexible for your needs. I started using it in my car as a vertical (as opposed to the recommended horizontal) support and it made driving much more fun. It can become uncomfortable after some time, that's when i just take it away or deflate it a bit. I lost the first one I bought when I got out of the car and immediately missed it. I went online to buy 2 more. I will take them on my trips, they will be great on flights, too.

Just OK as a waist trimmer. On the flimsy side. Does provide the back support I was looking for.

As others have noted, this thing leaks a lot. Basically, it is single layer construction -- like the cheapo type of air mattresses for swimming pools. The outside has a kind of short velour-like texture, which is not bad. Despite the leaks, it works okay for sitting on the sofa. However, I originally purchased it for use during an air flight. I discovered that since the seats are so close now, when I used the cushion my face was too close to the seat back in front of me. I purchased this thing for a reduced price, so the low level use is okay. However, at $20 or so now, it is well overpriced for the quality. I will look for something else to support my back...
