Sporting Goods : Superfeet Green Trim-to Fit Insoles (1400)

For about a year I had horrible pain in my heels after any inactivity. When I woke up in the morning, I looked like a 70 year old (I am 35). I finally got around to seeing a doctor, who told me I had bone spurs in my heels and plantar fascitis, and he recommended these inserts. They feel weird at first (borderline uncomfortable). But after a day or two you get used to them. I noticed a difference right away. By the third day, the pain was almost non-existent. Mind you, I wasn't wearing cheap shoes, I spent most of my time in $120 running shoes from well-respected brands like Saucony, Asics, and Brooks. You lose a bit of the cushioning when you pull out the original inserts and throw these in, but it is well worth it in the long run. From now on, I am buying a pair of these for every shoe I ... So far i've used this for about 2 weeks when I play ball, it feels secure & gives good ankle support when you make cuts or change of direction. Make sure you wear a sock under it though because it does irritate the skin until you break it in. Overall, it works great!

My doctor told me I had plantar fascitis and suggested this for me. After several painful weeks he finally determined that this insert is too wide for me and therefore is not hitting the area as it should in my shoe. It is made for a mans wider feet - not the narrower feet of a woman and there is no way to adjust it. It is well made - but if you have narrow feet it will not work for you.

This brace is exactly the same as the brace given to me by my orthopedist after my grade III ankle sprain.

It's just like taping up the ankle but with velcro so you can do it over and over again.

If this brace won't save your ankle then nothing will.

Sporting Goods : McDavid Lightweight Ankle Brace

I sprained my ankle playing basketball about 8 months ago. It healed pretty quickly and I started using an old ankle brace that I have. Then I had a doozy of a sprain on the same ankle about a month ago... WITH THE OLD BRACE ON. I didn't think that could happen. Somehow I hurt ligaments and tendons on both sides of the ankle, high and low. X-rays showed no breaks though. I'm just now starting to play again. I bought this McDavid Lightweight model and have been very impressed with it. It's a sturdy material that gives a lot more support than my old brace. And it has the steel stays for even more support. It doesn't feel like it hurts my "quickness" any more than the old brace did. It pretty much keeps the ankle from turning but allows you to extend it without too much resistance. It's a quality brace. ... Read More

It is a great product for women who have weak ankles. It is very comfortable to wear I wear them all the time because I have problems with my feet. They are not bulky like some other ankle supports. I think they are great for women.

I love these superfeet insoles! They are sturdy and offer great support. You might need to break into them before you go running with them, so just walk around with them for a day or two. I typically wear asics and once the arch supports start wearing down, I pop in a pair of these.
I've owned the asics gel-kayano14 for about two months now and already feel that I need to insert one of these soon.
I wear size 9-9.5, size D it is!

This ankle brace is a must for volleyball players. I only wish my daughter would have had it before she injured her ankle.
