I got 5 black maxx packages for me and my friends to play some paintball. I thought at first that these guns were going to suck but after I did research on the internet I found that that many people who had the black maxx were really happy with them. Out of about 12 cases of paint and 5 guns there has only been one ball break!!thats better than tippmann. there is plastic on the outside of the gun but it extremly strong. There aren't alot of upgrades to do on this gun but for starting off its an awesome gun!! where can you find a paintball gun package with this qulity gun for only $34.99?? buy this if you just want to shoot a paintball gun in your back yard or have tons of fun with your friends.

What a great marker! I've used a few different ones in the past but my kids finally talked me into buying some new markers. So off I went...and did my homework. The pros I read far surpassed any of the cons I came across so I figured what the heck, go for it. I purchased 3 that day. It's darn near bullet proof and you'll quit long before it does. The Cyclone feed is OUTSTANDING. None of us have chopped a ball yet. Some of our friends seem to spend way too much time extracting goo from their barrels. ROFL Heck, any time spent getting paint oit of the barrel is too much time. Great Deal, Quality Product. No broken paint balls yet! No way to mount a scope and can sometimes not shoot 100% straight thats why only 4 stars instead of 5. But it works, it solid, and AMAZING price.

For the amazing price, you can not beat this gun. It is very accurate, lightweight, and looks awesome. A++++++++ pistol. It's only downside is that is is slightly larger than the average paintball pistol...besides that, it can't be beat.

I paintballed for the first time the other day and my Alpha Black performed nicely. My first round I didn't have the opportunity to even fire my marker; however, the second round I scored myself two kills from 50+ feet; one in the knee and the other was a head shot in the goggles (on the first trigger pull). I didn't have one ball break and my shot groups were pretty tight. There isn't a need to fire 50 balls at someone hoping one will hit. If you see them, you can hit them (once you're familar with your aim). For someone who has never played before, can't run very fast, and has very little experience aiming a weapon of any sort... this marker made me feel like I had a chance out there. Excellent marker for a beginner. It's heavier than other markers, but it's really not that bad.

This is one the best scenarios markers around.... You will be pleased with the quality of it. It's quite heavy and will give a true felling of the the real gun... Therefore, I would advise to get a Sling in order to attach to the vest... The Alpha Black is mainly a Tippmann 98 already customized right our of the box. All the internals are the same as well... If you need to replace anything... One of the best things you can add to this marker is a cyclone... In order to this.. you have to get the 98 Custom Cyclone.. File down the border (since it's the only difference from the 98 to the AB, which does not allow the connector of the cyclone to match right out of the box...
