I am new to guns, I recently purchased a 22 mag. My gun is on the long side. This case was one of the very few that was long enough. If you have a long rife, this is the case for you. This case is well constructed. If you are looking for a good way to get your rifles from your home to the gun range this is the one for you. I would not suggest it for a plane trip. The case is strong, but does give a bit when a lot of weight is put on it. There is plenty of room in this case for two rifles with scopes on them, and still has room for your ammo and other things. The clips that close up the case work very well, they close up the case very securly. I would suggest getting this case, even if you only have one rifle. For the shooter and wargamer alike this is a good item. As a wargamer I can put a lot of figures or vehicles in it and know they are secure. As a shooter I use them for my pistols both for storage and transport with excellent service. The only reason that I did not give this listing a full five star rating is that the same case can be found at retail stores for several dollars less.

this is a really nice caseit has foam, 2 latches, and even a plave for a padlock (which i use and it works great too!) nice product all around!

This is a pretty decent gun case,,, i would recommend this product to those of you who dont wanna throw hundreds of dollars,Definitely worth the money you spend, I got a crosman storm XT air rifle and it ALMOST fits in with the scope. There's not enough storing space for ammunition n stuff, But if you wanna use it only for the rifle itself, it would fit fine. On and on its a good product for a resonable price and i got it with free shipping by amazon. There are other dealers who sell this product on amazon, nevertheless i stick to amazon because its totally trustworthy and fast shipping too.

The snap locks on the case are inferior in design and come apart easily. A strong metal pin for the locking hinge would work a lot better. I will not order another Plano product on line as I would have to examine it for strength and worthiness first.

Very nice case for the price. I got alot of compliments on it. It passed TSA regulations when I traveled with it. Like everyone else said, it's mostly plastic but that wasn't a big deal to me. The only problem I had was the locks being hard to unlock. After a few times of unlocking and locking it, it became alot smoother. Other than that I'm satisfied with my $30 purchase!

I bought this to store my over/under shotgun. It does the job fine for an inexpensive case. You might want something more deluxe if you're storing a $5,000 gun.
