This is the first review I have ever given a golf product. My swing was slowly self destructing this year. I developed a fade that was getting worse and worse. After realizing that it was not the clubs, I tried a couple different training aids. Finally, I saw the reviews on the swingyde. I ordered it and tried it. At first, it was not correcting my swing and then I realized that I was not following the directions. After watching the DVD and reading the instructions again, I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. Shortly after, I was swinging perfectly. Product is flimsey but will work ok if you punch another hole in the middle and use the 2 outer hole to secure the mat with stakes, also buy some decent rubber tees from the sporting goods store because the included split tee will soon fail at the splits better off just to just forget this mat and buy a heaverier front door mat punch a hole in it and and purchase some rubber tees from the sporting goods store.

As many other reviewers stated, mat is a little bumpy, but I expected that and I'm sure eventually it'd go flat (or you could iron it), and that alone I was ok with. What I'm not ok with is the fact that even if you do put it right in the hole, it either just sits in the hole or rolls down to the return device and just sits there. After moving the return device around at different angles I eventually got it to return one out of every 4 balls, and even then it only returned it about half way to me, even on short carpet.... I will be looking for a better return putting green.

I give it a 3 star rating just because the mat is so small that is not very forgiving if you're just trying to warm up. On the other side if you're good enough that you can practice with this without missing a shot then you don't really need it.. :)

Works great. I was hoping that foam underneath would extend more. I recommend getting some double-sided carpet tape to hold it in place, and combining it with the IZZO rough chipping mat and some foam wedges from foamonline.com. I ordered the following foam pieces and break and cup depth is better: Elongated wedge 12.000"TL x 42.000"BL X 2.500"H x 34.000"D Trapezoid 1.125"BW x 2.375"FW x 34.000"H x 20.750"D

This is a piece of junk. It is very difficult to assemble. I used it 2-3 times then one of the poles broke in half. Very poor workmanship. Don't waste your money.
