After going on a 3 month backpacking trip, I'm so grateful that I had this little towel. I didn't have to worry about drying times and could just pack it. A few bad things about it: it sometimes can smell a little funky, but that's quickly cured by just running it through a washing machine; also, it can sometimes get some strange marks on it. Overall though, it's a great investment for the luggage space challenged.

Having taken up doing laps almost every day at the pool, I wanted to add something to my workout: These fins must be the most comfortable ones out there for the pool. They are compact (easy to slip in to your swim bag), have a soft, very comfortable, adjustable ankle strap, and they do, indeed, ZIP... (no false advertising here). Regarding the size, I am an 8 to 81/2 and I got the medium size. They fit fine and have not come off while swimming. The adjustment of the ankle strap is easily done, even while in the pool with them on. With regard to performance, they have actually helped me concentrate on improving my kicks and I still feel I get a good workout; I just glide along a lot faster.

Note that the Large is a mens USA 8-10, Euro 43-44, CM? 26-28 It seems sized more accurately with the Euro sizing. Do use the Tusa website for the complete size chart. Very thick construction with walking treads on bottom.

The strap is no good compared to a boot fit fin and can become irritating. they only allow a certain level of thrust before you are just waisting energy (not made for hard thrusts or fast swimming). OK for training fins or minimal usage. The best fitting fins are the ones without straps, just get 1 size smaller that land shoes so they fit snug and don't chafe yout heels.

I bought the XL and they are too small! I usually wear a 13 to a 14 (in men's size) and these were more like a twelve or maybe a small 13 at best. As to perfomance, I cannot say as I had to send them back. I bought mine from Green Room Surf and they were totally cool beyond all expectations. They said that they don't know of any fin socks that run any bigger and told me most larger-footed folks just use a regular ankle-style sock, so I am going to try that out. Good luck!
