I've been using mine for several months for both indoor and sport climbing. It's a great fit, wonderfully padded, with a number of loops to keep your straps nice and neat. It truly is a lot of bang for the buck and definitely a great first harness. The one thing I really hate are the way the gear loops stick out. The front ones tend to rub the inside of my arms when I walk or just stand there with my arms to the side. Since I don't carry any equipment in the front loops, I'm about to cut them off.

As stated in another review, this is a very basic harness. It is probably intended for alpine climbing where you are less likely to be hanging in the harness than in technical rock climbing. Mine is the older model and I added gear loops that are now provided on the new harnesses. Mine, as it is now, weighs 15 ounces or about 425 grams. I have used it for class 4 rock climbing, climbing in the gym, and glacier travel. For my purposes it has worked fine and is safe. If you plan to become an avid rock climber (indoors or out) you will want to look at a slightly different design and one that has some padding. The harnesses ordered came on time and were very well made; there was even a carrying case for each. However, my grandchildren proved to be too small for either, and when I called the company there was absolutely no problem returning them. I'd certainly order them from this company when the grandchildren grow a foot or so.

This is a great harness. We had bought this one and the Wiz Kids. We returned the wiz kids and exchanged it for another of this Kids A-Bod harness. It fits all our kids great, whereas the Wiz Kids did not fit our kids right at all. It just had a bad design. This one is really great. It fits our 11 year old as well as our 4 year old!

I bought this harness because it is light, nicely padded, and breathable for the Texas heat. I wear it about 35 hours a week, only taking it off once a day. You can't really feel to have it on since it is very light and just fits in the right place. --it works well for me Things I'm not particularly fond of: sometimes I hang out sideways on the line and the leg loops will slide around from the attachment point (the green strap in the middle) and that freaks me out a little. I wish there were another belay safe attachment point on the back. The main problem with this harness is all the sizes it comes in. There is like an XS, S, M, L, XL.
