The quality of this product is not what I expected. The candles are really small and don't glow very brightly, even after I replaced the batteries. Each candle takes 3 batteries and at $5 per package that seems a bit expensive. Forget the "blow out" feature. I almost blew out a lung! The wooden tray is a little cheesy too.

Truth in advertising. They are good candles that fit the candle lanterns. Mine seem to last closer to 10-11hrs but I'm not burning them straight through or keeping an exact watch on them. Clean burning, easy to clean up and they travel and store well. Good buy.

I love beeswax candles so when I saw that UCO was making them for their candle lanterns I was so excited! While these work ok, I think they're maybe using the wrong wick size. The candle I have been using burns unevenly to the point it starts to burn over the rim of the holder. Also, you need to trim these to keep the wick down where the white candles don't really need this. On the plus side they are more enviromentally sound and have a lovely aroma. If UCO would work on the wick and burning issue, then they would have a great product. I think they used the same molds and wicks as the their traditional white candles completely ignoring the fact that beeswax burns differently and needs to be managed accordingly. I purchased this candle to try it out for inclusion in my emergency pantry. However, I hadn't realized that you shouldn't use it inside, because of the toxic output. On the package, it actually says that the lead level in the product might be problematic. However, if I was outside and needed to boil small amounts of water, it might come in handy.
