I feel sorry for everyone that buys an ENO hammock. These are the exact same thing without being overpriced. Mine is only a single, but I only paid 20 dollars for it at an import reseller. A complete steal, this thing goes with me on every vacation, camping or not.

I'm disappointed that the terms "Ultralight" and "Green" are used with this product. I think this misleading attempt to cash in on publicity for new "ultralite" synthetic materials used for hiking, mountain and rock climbing. It's also advertised as "great for backpacking," but I don't think so. Camping Hammocks exist, such as those from Hennessy, which are complete alternatives to camping tents. They do have "ultralite" models which use more expensive materials to minimize weight. Ultralite Backpacker A-Sym (1.15 lbs) Hennessy Hammock Expedition A-sym The Green, Ultralight Travel Hammock might be great for other purposes, but the marketing makes me suspicious and unconfortable. Does it stand up to mold, mildew and rot in storage? Will it last for more than a summer or two?

I really wanted this hammock. I live in an RV and cannot ever find a couple of good trees that are big enough and the right distance apart in campgrounds to hook up a regular hammock in, so this looked great. I checked the reviews and it seemed that this was the best. I asked for and received it as a gift. I took it home, unwrapped it and set it up. It is heavier than expected but very simple to set up. I gently sat down on it and without even having half my weight on it the plastic hinge with the hook that holds the hammock(look at the pictures) snapped right off. . The weight limit stated in the directions is 250 pounds but I weigh only 200. I cannot recommend this item at all to anyone for any reason. Nice hammock and easy to assemble. A little on the small and short side but this is my first hammock and it was for my kids so all of them may be on the short side. Fits me and the kids well but I'm only 5'4". Slightly short for my husband who is 6'. The swinging is really nice for the kids. Overall really liked it.

this product is very sturdy. The stand is also very long. I do like the fact that the chains are long enough to be adjusted to accomodate various weights in the hammock.
