I received this cot a while ago and although it seems like it will work out fine, I am still waiting for one replacement end cap. The cot I was sent had one end cap without the nib on the end to make the cot work. I called the company that day and have yet to receive the replacement in the mail, it has been over a month. Guess I need to call them again.

Just got this cot yesterday, and I have mixed feelings about it. The length and width are great, but I have serious concerns about the construction. Anyone who has slept on a military issue cot of this style (I slept on one in Iraq for 11 months) knows they are built like rocks. But this cot wobbles forward and backward in a very disconcerting way. The brackets on the joints are undersized, and I think that is what leads to the instability. Secondly, the connectors for the endpoles are of a style (kinda like a dovetail joint) that is very likely to break during normal use (assembly and disassembly in particular). This cot is great! Easy to setup, great to sleep on, accommodates the largest of people, You need a really big tent for this huge cot! works great as an extra bed at home as well.

Pretty comfortable, but it does squeak some. Plenty of room on it for average size people. Very sturdy. Great for extra beds in guestrooms for kids or extra guests, takes up very little space and stores easily. Mattress is also easy to wipe down. A lot easier to set up than air matresses and never springs a leak!

I was really looking forward to my new cot for camping. The size was perfect. 2 things though were not so perfect. One, the end braces were too hard for me to attach, I needed help (it was difficult for him too). And two, when it was all set up we found that it wobbled back and forth (head to toe). I sent it back the next day, and recieved a refund quickly from Amazon. I bought the Outfitter XL Cot for a few dollars more, from Cabela's (also a Slumberjack product) and I am very happy with it. Good quality products other than the wobble.

This turned out to be a great cot. Well off the ground, sturdy and yet light weight. Provides enough room to turn over and not roll off.

This bed stands head and shoulders above another rollaway bed I purchased from Amazon. Instead of a noisy, sagging wire mesh, it has hard-wood slats for solid mattress support. Instead of an innerspring mattress in which the springs break through and poke you in the side, it has a comfortable 5" foam mattress. In my opinion, this is a low-cost bed that can't beat. I give it two thumbs up!

Product and price are excellent. Have already recommended to all my hunting and fishing buddies. I would also recommend to any one. This is not an item to pack in on your back. It is great for hauling to the beach in the boat or on a four wheeler to a campsite. I think this item is perfect for what I do.

This cot is relatively easy to assemble if you are strong and seems very sturdy. The frame is all metal,not partially wood as pictured and the whole thing is made in China, not in Maine. Otherwise, it seems to be a good functional item.
