I've used Jansport backpacks for years and the quality is great. I wanted to find a rare color so I purchased it in Light Purple Passion and love it! The color was slightly different as I thought the strap/padding part of it was black but it turned out to be a dark violet & the strings to the zipper were striped not solid. Even though it wasn't the same as shown (not really a good thing) I ended up liking it better than the sample picture.

I ordered this for my daughter in 9th grade, as her books no longer fit into the large Lands End she used for middle school. Cubic inches were quite a bit more, and all her books fit perfectly. It also contained a spilled soda to just the one compartment for easy cleanup...waterproof? (nothing else was in the compartment, either). Loved the color selection, as she picked one that was unique and didn't have to go with a basic solid.

it's comfortable, doesn't taste like plastic, fits well, has adjustable strings which have belcro at the end to roll them so thy don't get in your way. the sternum strap gives much more stability, but if you dont want it it can be removed. its easy to fill, and has just the exact cargo space for important things (cell phone, maybe an energy bar, air pump, and it can e adjusted to even take clothing such as a sweter and some pants at the same time).

Finally, after an exhaustive search, I have found the perfect work bag. This is lightweight yet sturdy and the strap is a comfortable length for over the shoulder. The interior's funky lining makes it easy to find small items. In it I could fit file folders, a book, a large water bottle, cords and other electronics and my jacket. I'll be back for some in other colors!

I'd purchased a camelbak cleaning kit in the past and it worked great, so I was quite disappointed when I tried out this model. Simply put, I could only squeeze the hose brush in about a quarter of the way before it gets stuck and won't go any farther. My old brush was attached to a metal cable, but this one is attached to a plastic tube. I'm not sure if the brush is too big, or if my hose is too small (It a real Camelbak) but I'd look elsewhere. I'm giving it two stars because the rest of the kit seems to function just fine.

I went to study in Europe and soon found out that my regular backpack was no good. I sent for this bag and it was great. It fits enough cloths for 2-3 weeks and has many pockets. I used the bottom for dirty cloths. The straps made it feel so light. I loved it. Only bad things was you couldn't use the top as a daypack.

I've been using this backpack for a little over a month now and overall it is a very good bag. Pros: Two large compartments one of which has a laptop sleeve. Second large compartment has plenty of smaller "pouch" areas to store stuff like spare cell charger and other assorted items. Two water bottle sleeves on either side of the backpack. Thickly padded shoulder straps. The cross chest strap really takes some of the pressure off the lower back. Cons: Shoulder strap length could be a bit longer. I'm a large guy and I have to extend them all the way to wear the backpack. Laptop sleeve does not have a top or other means to firmly secure a laptop. While it's not the exact color as photographed, I knew to expect it would be different. Anyone who ordered this exact bag and expected it to look as pictured, obviously isn't too bright. it IS 100% Cotton Canvas. For those who added pictures. I will be adding my own soon. When you actually put books into the bag it is virtually identical to the pictured version (worn color aside). Oh, and the strap. Yeah it's thin, but if it were wider it wouldn't look right. Everyone needs to remember, The one pictured looks more worn then a new one. Best part of this back, the extra pen pockets and flap in front. Overall exceptionally functional and stylish to boot. Icing on the cake, seller shipped same day as ordered-received 4 days from date of ordering!!
