KEEP IN MIND THESE ARE CHEAP TARGET ARROWS MADE OF WOOD AND ARE VERY LIGHT. FOR TRADITIONAL RECURVE SHOOTING AT LESS THAN 30 YARDS, THESE WILL WORK FINE ON YOUR RECURVE OR LONGBOW AT LESS THAN A 40# DRAW WEIGHT. DO NOT USE THESE IN A COMPOUND IF YOU ARE A SERIOUS SHOOTER. When I first received the arrows I have to admit, I was astounded by the condition and the fletching of the arrows. The "feathers" were made of a material that in some way made the material stay together. Unfortunately though, I was disapointed by the fact the the paint scratches of very fast. I shot the arrows with a little apachi bow and when I went to retreive them some of the paint was scratched of entirely on one side! Over all I'd have to give it a 4.5 star P.S. It was a great deal for the price!

Before I write the review, I have to say, the bow I'm using is the PSE Buckeye 62" Wood Take-Down Recurve . I don't know if that will help anyone, but it may be the reason for my only complaint against the arrows. The notch at the back of the arrows is too narrow to fit my bow string. Well, they fit, but you have to force them onto it. And they're so attached that they won't even leave the string when I try to fire it. It's a minor complaint. Luckily the part that fits the string is made of plastic, so I just used a lighter to soften it, and them used a small cylindrical object (I used the metal part of a smallish screwdriver) and widened them, and they work great. Some arrows when shot get thrown completley off-target. Another bad point is that since the points are crimped-on, if you hit a solid hard object by accident they will force themselves inward and splinter the wood a bit. But as far as spine strength goes, they are very strong. One of them accidently hit concrete, but didn't get damaged.
