I bought this so I would have a safe place to shoot my airsoft arsenal indoors. This is perfect for that. The stronger the shot, the longer it sticks. My weakest electric with weak batteries at about 5-10ft stick and start rolling down immediately. My most powerful rifle at almost point-blank range stuck for quite a while, then started to slowly roll down. I use .12g pellets with a variety of my guns and this target performs wonderfully. No parts that need almost constant replacing and the pellets roll down neatly into the tray, even the ones that are far off to the sides. If you own an airsoft gun of any type, this target will make reusing ammo about as easy as possible.

I suggest purchasing this for indoor bb target shooting. All other indoor traps will bounce (ricochet) the bbs out of the trap, except for the "quiet trap" that cost almost 3x more + the price of the putty. The inner curtain on this trap will prevent the bb's from ricocheting out of the trap. mgso

The Rocker Pellet Trap is constructed well and is fun/easy to use. I highly recommend the product...especially for indoor target shooting. Here are my experiences: 1) I follow the instructions and only shoot lead pellets at the recommended velocities. 2) On occassion I have noticed that a pellet escapes the trap and lands about 2-3 feet in front of the trap. I view this as acceptable because I am about 12-15 feet away and always were safety glasses. 3) The Rocker Pellet Trap provides good reliable action. 4) My kids like it better than paper targets.

If you feel like using real bb's maybe this would work. The little guns that my ten year old used can't seem to get the targets to fall from any distance. The one thing I do like is the backstop netting. It makes cleanup a little easier.
