IT appears that Corel has messed up the WinDVD product. My problems: 1) Trial version will not work on Windows XP x64, PowerDVD trial does. 2) Tech support responses are the standard dribble you can query online. Even if youmention you tried the online help, you still get the same response from tech support. 3) No Blu-Ray trial available from Corel WinDVD. I need it for seeing how well blu0ray plays. I would have to assume the blu-ray plays correctly. Not much of a problem since the trial will not work. PowerDVD does have a Blu-Ray trial available 4) Unable to download a new trial. I recently purchased and installed the Final Cut Studio Upgrade. The difference from Final Cut 4.5 is amazing! The products in the suite are tremendous! I used the studio without a hitch for the first couple of weeks. A few days ago, I installed recommended Apple updates, and now all of the sudden, my serial number is invalid!!! I paid good money for a suite I cannot use. The Apple website provides no 'real' support. There are no email addresses, no phone numbers, and nothing in the troubleshooting that addresses my problem! The only potential support I can find is to purchase Applecare for Video. Why do I need to PURCHASE support when I already paid for the product. The product should work and the support should be included!!!

No regrets. It's somewhat of a learning curve, but it's the Producer Edition and that's the level I bought it at. So much potential unlocked and the lifetime support for tutorials is a definite plus.

I have owned two previous versions of ACL and just upgraded to 12 to make the program work with Vista. The new version is buggy and the graphics are much less vivid than my prior version (2004). I contacted the company the day after purchase for assistance and their responses were unhelpful. After several attempts to get the problems resolved, I asked for a refund and was refused. There are better products out there for less money.

I really enjoy this product. I recently graduated from college and don't have a large amount of money to spend on EFX pedals and amps, so I bought this. I have decent computer speakers so it works well for me, otherwise you could use headphones if your speakers aren't that great. I would purchase again! Great for a beginner with no gear, but not the same quality and power as an amp.

I've used PowerDVD for many years. It works quite well and supports the wide variety of media that I want to play. This new version is no exception. It supports formats like MPEG-4 AVC and DivX Pro, the HD detail is quite satisfying. Audio-wise, PowerDVD works fine on 7.1 ch and 5.1 ch. No complaints. The thing I like particularly is the feature called "Do It Smart" with which I can move subtitles and repeat dialogs. As for the new "Remix" function. It might be fun but I don't find any time to try it yet.

I found the software more challenging than I expected. I have also been studying with another kind of software which has a totally different approach to the study of the electric guitar. At this point I haven't made enough progress to be more thorough in my remarks.

He just loved to play, but he didn't like working in a music theory workbook. Music Ace 2 is an interactive, thorough program that is fun for kids beginning to learn about music or even for kids that are just curious about it. The "professor" is your guide through about two dozen lessons and is very supportive and patient. The games that support each lesson are a lot of fun to play, and reinforce the lesson.
