I deliberately chose the 2006 edition, not the latest 2007 edition, because I just needed a review for high school geometry, exponents, fractions, etc. My wife teased me about doing three years of math in only a few weeks. I strongly sugget that anyone that needs some type of mathematics, reading comprehension skill, or verbal acutity review think about buying this product, regardless of whether the test they are reviewing for is the PSAT, SAT, ACT, or the like.

The game is a faithful reproduction of the PC version of SC2K. All functionality is present, even if a bit more cumbersome to access on the smaller screen. Everything from the opening music, to the newspaper stories, all the way up to the Arcos is included. One word of caution to prospective buyers...thus far I have been unable to find a way to multitask while playing this game (played on a Toshiba e310). While the game is running, the ability to access other PDA functions seems to be disabled. That said, SimCity fans will not be disappointed. The graphics are very sharp and the interface is quite friendly (even if a little different from the PC version).

You first have to force it to work in XP. Compatibility mode. Then be prepared to be disappointed with the maps you see. Simple scans of old maps. Complete with creases and dog ears. No searches for places. A cheesy Win 95 app with little usefulness. Mired in a 640X480 view. Primitive panning and zoom. Bad all around.
