Ditto to this review: "I have been a Quicken user since it was a DOS application back in the mid `80s. It has always been a very good and reliable product. However: Quicken 2006 is by far the worst release of Quicken Intuit has ever produced. " Today it cannot even print a simple report, while all other software on my system is functioning with out problems. This just proves software should not be purchased on past history alone...

In response to questions regarding TurboTax & Spyware. Judge for yourself before buying this product by doing a search using "turbotax" and "C-Dilla". Look at the results from legitimate sites... I will not purchase any product from any company who uses or has used hidden spyware of this caliber in their products. PLEASE do the same. Money talks very loud. Again, please take 5 minutes & judge for yourself. I chose 2 stars due to the fact I must select something & this is close to the mean.

I have attempted to purchase this item at least five times. One vendor sent a Canon ink cartridge and advised that the SKU no. for the cartridge and the software were coded improperly as the same no. by "AMAZON.COM". The CAIMAN vendor repeatedly offers this software item but the next day always refunds my credit card indicating the reason as "customer service credit". Some thing about the offer to sell this product and constant refunds is suspicious and FTC may be vehicle to correct this.

I only use Microsoft Money 2003 for my checking account. I go to my bank account online, hit a few buttons, and import my latest bank transactions directly into Microsoft Money 2003. It's very easy, and it always reconciles to the penny. If you import the exact same transactions a hundred times, they will only show up once in MS Money 2003. With that said, I am also an accountant, and I have been using QuickBooks for years. Most small businesses today use either QuickBooks or another camparable accounting software program. The basic 2008 editiion is only a few hundred dollars and is definetely worth it for accounting. I'm not sure how small and broke a small business has to be to resort to using MS Money as its main accounting software, but I would not recommend it for that ... Read More

Buying this software was the worst financial decision I have ever made. My accounts are so messed up by now that I'm on the verge of starting over, thus losing nearly ten years of historical data. With Quicken 2000 my account balances were reconciled to the absolute penny. I always knew where my finances, but now I don't trust anything I see. I wish I'd never laid eyes on this software.
